We've both corrected that misunderstanding. 😺

Vixen was put to sleep this morning. She had lost a bit of weight but was still eating and being her normal self. I had a vet appointment booked but then the last couple of days she got v skinny (still eating and drinking normally). I was going to phone the vet this morning to get her seen more quickly but then when I got up, she could barely stand so we rushed her over but there was nothing they could do. My poor girl.

@RumNotRun I’m so sorry for the loss of your lovely girl Vixen. They take a piece of our hearts for sure. (((Unmumsnetty hugs )))

She was only 9. She was eating roast chicken and fancy cat food yesterday evening. I cuulddled her for ages this morning while waiting for my ex to come and take her to the vet. I made sure I told her that I love her and that she was the best girl. I just hope she hasn't been in pain and I didn't notice.

Ghostie has taken to her tent.

I have asked my sister and my best friend to get me one of those ornaments if they happen to be passing an Asda 😁

I don't think Ghostie is particularly bothered, although they all seem a bit more subdued. I think Toad will miss Vixen the most. None of the others chew on his ears when he's being a pain 😁

Kitty’s just come in with a damp tail. It’s not raining.

It’s not wet enough for her to have dunked it in the watering can so all I can think of is that she rubbed it on the cat grass after I’d watered it. Or she slipped it temporarily into another damper dimension.

I discovered that Amazon now do cans of cat food. I often end up with Amazon vouchers from surveys and games so decided to buy some and see what the tribe think. They wolfed it down tonight which probably means by Thursday they'll hate it which is a shame as I have 96 cans of it 😬
