Martha and Amos a sight for sore eyes. Ma Bush!!!! Can it really be true?! It’s a miracle 😀 Ollie must be thrilled to bits.

I am fine and wondering whether a series of Jubilee portraits of our own rulers might be appropriate.

Defiantlynot41 · 03/06/2022 08:20

Jubilee cat DCat1 enjoying the sunshine yesterday. This is the one who was so desperately I'll with pancreatitis a few weeks ago.

Jubilee Sybil keeping her eye on the minions from on high.

I have plenty of DNA if I want to clone the 70Cats
I pick up the discarded whiskers , I don't hoik them out of their little faces
And I think I could find two replacement Mini Panther Ex Ferals when they eventually go to the litter tray in the sky

Most gracious and seemly portraits.

How is Nemo taking to the tiny one?

TheLongRider · 03/06/2022 12:57

Nemo is being very polite to the baby. They've chirruped at each other and sniffed noses. Nemo is not sure about Amos, but he's coping ok. The old boys are ignoring him and as far as Hobbes is concerned Amos is an appalling blight on his life.

Last time the kitten stayed so I can see Hobbes point of view. Hobbes has been hurt before 😾

Athenajm80 · 03/06/2022 23:23

@YesItsMeIDontCare I ordered a Cuddle Clone after Favourite Cat was PTS a couple of years ago. I am so disappointed with it, I struggle to even look at it. I don't know if they had a trainee doing it or something, but the legs annoy me as they are far too small and unrealistic. I know it doesn't really matter as the CC won't be standing up, but considering they're meant to be realistic clones it irritates me. I studied all the ones on the site and they were amazing. The one I have just looks like a shitty cheap toy like you'd win at a fair.

I should have complained at the time, but I felt so embarrassed about how crap it was considering how much it cost.

Supersimkin2 · 04/06/2022 10:55

Got lashed up last night and to the strains of Squeeze’s Cool for Cats waltzed with Havelock.

He purred.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 04/06/2022 12:10

While Super has been ballroom dancing with cats ours have been making their own entertainment.

Yesterday we had a sealed bag, safely stored 🤣, with two Molly's mice enclosed.

This morning we have stoned cats...

@Athenajm80

Thats so sad about your CC. It probably helped me that Harley had quite a few fairly distinctive markings and as they got those right the look is pretty spot on. Head and ear shape are a little out but his li'l caramel goatee and stripey forehead are bang on.

I probably won't risk it with Leroy!

@Supersimkin2

Am jealous of waltz with fluffy black feline - Leroy would have my arm off 😂

Supersimkin2 · 04/06/2022 12:59

Havelock says I bet Leroy looks Good on the Dancefloor.

Bank Holiday high spirits, Grumpy.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 04/06/2022 13:07

Leroy says thank you and agrees he would look bloody good on a dance floor - but his way.

He also thinks reclining on the bar luring people in to a game of "killargh" by adorably showing off his soft tummy fluff is a good alternative.

MrOllivander · 04/06/2022 14:07

Ollie is having an afternoon snooze

Allergictoironing · 04/06/2022 14:36

Just cleaned up the third large hairball in as many days here - not bad going for 2 cats!

YesItsMeIDontCare · 04/06/2022 14:49

Ollie is very sensible. I'm going to have an afternoon snooze too! I'm knackered due to somebody waking me up at 4am 🙄

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/06/2022 14:56

Your dh should be more considerate of you if he gets up in the night.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 04/06/2022 15:01

I wish it was DH, I could smack him one with a pillow and banish him to the spare room 😂

Nope, it's the li'l furry sod who wakes me up with cutesy chirrupy mews and loud purrs. I can't banish Leroy to anywhere, I'm too bloody soft!

Supersimkin2 · 04/06/2022 17:20

I couldn’t banish Leroy either.

I better get Havelock some milk ‘n’ dreamies by way of a welcome basket cos he’s venturing, very nervously, onto Capn’s balcony. There’s a particularly lush sun spot under pink pelargoniums he’s got his eye on.

Allergictoironing · 04/06/2022 18:01

I can only see 2 outcomes to that Lana. Either Havelock decides that he's going to move in with you, destroying the relationship with your NDN and you being accused of being a cat thief, or when you get a new furry overlord of your own there will be turf wars!

Just saw this article while going down a cricketing rabbit hole on the internet.

Why don't MY cats like cricket as much?

She of the fluffy arse has decided that the record deck is now hers and hers alone. Serves us right for redecorating and then changing the living room around.
Can't help feeling this may not be the best way to maintain hi-fi equipment 🤣

It’s probably not ideal for it but there’s nothing you can do now.
