Thanks @TheLongRider!

NotMyCat · 05/07/2021 20:17

Just managed to flea treat Ollie VERY easily
He was sat on my lap facing away from me so I messed about parting his fur back and forth then dropped it on and he didn't even notice Grin

cricketmum84 · 05/07/2021 20:24

Thank you @TheLongRider for the new thread :)

I'm sure I will have many Ivy and Betsy escapades to share!!

coastergirl · 05/07/2021 20:45

Ooh, shiny new thread!

NMC has just been here. I could hear his bell jingling.

Papergirl1968 · 05/07/2021 21:41

Love the new tread title.
Charlie (is it Charlie?) looks like an ornament, Just.

Supersimkin2 · 05/07/2021 21:57

Evenin all.

cricketmum84 · 05/07/2021 22:07

I see your fluffy tum and I raise you.... a very relaxed Ivycat in the worlds greatest cardboard box 😂😂

cricketmum84 · 05/07/2021 22:08

Would help if the pic had attached....

Lush and lovely.

Defiantly41 · 05/07/2021 22:26

Thanks for new thread @TheLongRider

Great pictures Cricketmum, Supersimpkin, Just

I like the suggestion of a fleece lined shelf above the TV for Just - my two have been glued to the windowsills since I relocated their self heating fleece mats to the windowsills.

I think it was good advice from NotMyCat or FluffyCloudLand on a previous thread about making sure to get non-crinkly mats that helped

NotMyCat · 05/07/2021 22:41

Ollie is alternating cooking himself on his self heating mat then flopping on the floor Confused

YesItsMeIDontCare · 05/07/2021 23:18

Yes, this is a cat. Yes, this is Leroy. I think.

Thank you for the new fred Long 👍🏻

@YesItsMeIDontCare I love that photo of Leroy!

NotanotherboxofFrogs · 06/07/2021 01:27

Hiya can I join you all. My cats are Millie and Cookie. Brother and sister and I have also two NMC.

These are the NMCs. Oneeye is a daily visitor and Sandy is a mean cat that is feared by many.

Have you got Bengals @NotanotherboxofFrogs?.

Puddy was doing an odd shaky thing last night after dh talked me into cancelling her vet appt so I had to ring up to make it again. Long said one of hers does it but I need to check she’s not ill. Her coats much better with daily grooming, very silky and glamorous.

Supersimkin2 · 06/07/2021 07:23

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/4287821-Whats-the-best-money-youve-spent

This is very funny. Some people are proudly detailing the ins and outs of their bean to cup Gaggia for only a grand: everyone else is posting muzzy pictures of feral kittens at only a fiver.

Supersimkin2 · 06/07/2021 07:28

Shaking could be stress release Fluffy. Dinna ye fret.

When Mr C threw similar, I went nuclear, but the vet told me only to ring back if he’d done it twice. Never did.

Hope you having a peaceful breakfast admiring PPPs glossy new fur.

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/07/2021 07:37

Yes that was the other option, or hypoglycaemic.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 06/07/2021 08:34

I had a cat who did that Fluffy. Turned out it was caused by dairy. I thought a weeny bit of cheese every now and then wouldn't be a problem!

Hello Frogs! Nice to see some Lick-e-Lix worship in another household.

cricketmum84 · 06/07/2021 08:55

Well Betsy actually let me groom her this morning with the shedding comb. She hissed a few times but didn't swipe me like she normally does. Her fur looks silkier and hopefully she will feel a bit cooler! I got quite a bit of undercoat out!

@Fluffycloudland77 how was the grooming glove?

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/07/2021 09:11

She wasn’t thrilled by it but I’m going to persevere. It’s different to what she’s been used to.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 06/07/2021 09:18

YesItsMeIDontCare - that's a truly inspired picture of Leroy Grin

And LongRider - thanks for the new thread too.

AlfonsoTheMango · 06/07/2021 09:45

Lovely new thread. I don't have a cat right now so I live vicariously through all of you.

cricketmum84 · 06/07/2021 09:54

@AlfonsoTheMango I can almost guarantee you will have a furry overlord by the end of this thread 😂
