Help! The kittens have disappeared!!!

Went out last night for 2 hours, before I went I fed the kittens and shut them in the living room.

I came home and looked for them, they're nowhere.

The living room door was still shut, but they were nowhere to be seen!

In my living room is a corner sofa. One chair, a TV and 2 Toy boxes and a fireplace. They aren't in any of them!!!

They are 4 orphaned/ dumped 6 week old kittens! How on earth have they vanished???? Where are they???

I've sat in there in the quiet and listened. No scratching. Now I've put food down and shut the door again hoping they'll eat then I'll know they're alive Sad but where on earth could they be!

That's a very cross kitten face!

Mmmnotsure · 28/09/2014 21:48

The kittens are very lucky to be cared about so much. I think you are lovely, Hurr1cane, and I love your sense of humour about pies.

It was a joke, wasn't it?

That darling black and white one is just edible!

Fairyfellowsmasterstroke · 28/09/2014 21:52

Hurr1cane - I'm delighted that this saga has had a happy ending BUT what am I going to do for entertainment from now on???

The last 36 hours has seen me glued to this thread - refreshing the page at every opportunity!!!

Guess its time I got my life back!!

Hurr1cane · 28/09/2014 22:09

If I ate meat I may consider it. Particularly for pepper. A pepper pie sounds tasty.

No I could never ever hurt any animal.

I do joke to DP that I'm going to put 'his' cat in the canal. She's mind but I think she's in love with DP, shouts at me if I'm cuddling him and taking up my spot.

That joke backfired though. DPs mum asked me what I did with the last set of orphans and me and DP said in unison by accident 'put them in the canal'

Almost gave the poor woman a heart attack until she realised that if I won't even eat chicken and spent a fortune keeping them alive from almost newborn then I'd never harm them.

I felt terrible for ages after that! I think it was the way we both said it in unison that made it so shocking!!

Pffft - you need to read the entire thread!!!!

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 28/09/2014 22:31

Relieved. I can sleep tonight now.
Got to say that Pepper Pie's an absolute beauty.

PigletJohn · 29/09/2014 00:16

'mmmmm, pie.

HopefulHamster · 29/09/2014 00:38

Yay! No pie tonight! (probably)

Hurr1cane · 29/09/2014 10:24

wantacatplease · 29/09/2014 10:26

Phew! You've done a fantastic job. Thanks

Hurr1cane · 29/09/2014 10:28

Smile I gave pepper a wash before she went so that it was only this house which is the nasty house and she can go to a fresh house all nice without any traumatising experiences

Oh well done, Hurr1cane! You've been brilliant!

Haha re Raggie's size! Only useful when they're fully grown 3 years on! When one of mine was a kitten she got under our bath! We'd just moved house and didn't realise behind the loo was a hole where they could sneak in! I think her personality was the most useful part - she just couldn't resist playing! Grin

Hurr1cane · 29/09/2014 11:21

And now all that's left is some sooty footprints on my loo roll

Pepper looks hardcore. Such attitude for a tiny kitten.

Hurr1cane · 29/09/2014 11:44

She is hardcore! Her new mum is very knowledgable though and has an action plan.

I bet you'd do it all again if you suddenly recieved 4 more Grin (Perhaps without all the drama!)

Are ragdolls usually big'uns? I've got a ragdoll x british shorthair and she's a very dainty lady.
Maybe I need to beef her up a bit..

Hurr1cane · 29/09/2014 11:58

Yes ragdolls are big.

Ragdoll in one of those massive compost bins and on DSs climbing frame.

So cute! What a beast!

I can't find any photos of mine next to anything for a size comparison. I'll have a rummage around.

Hurr1cane · 29/09/2014 12:10

They also sleep funny
