Help! The kittens have disappeared!!!

Went out last night for 2 hours, before I went I fed the kittens and shut them in the living room.

I came home and looked for them, they're nowhere.

The living room door was still shut, but they were nowhere to be seen!

In my living room is a corner sofa. One chair, a TV and 2 Toy boxes and a fireplace. They aren't in any of them!!!

They are 4 orphaned/ dumped 6 week old kittens! How on earth have they vanished???? Where are they???

I've sat in there in the quiet and listened. No scratching. Now I've put food down and shut the door again hoping they'll eat then I'll know they're alive but where on earth could they be!

Hopefully little boy will be collected today and then I can just focus on pepper and my own feral kitten who I kept from the last abandoned litter.

She's still a baby really and needs lots of hugs

Are those kittens' surname Houdini?

I'm relieved to read that she's been out and isn't stuck or anything

Update. I brought boy kitten down in a cat box because he was making so much noise that DS wouldn't sleep. He was crying so much that she started responding! She popped her head out and then saw me so ran back

Yes I've found a home for the boy. He'll be going soon. I'm a bit gutted about him because he was by far the most vocal and friendly.

He was in the hall in the cat box at first and then I saw a little paw hanging out of the hole, so I moved him closer and then I saw a little face! Then she saw me and went back in.

Would just like to say, peppers new mum has been so patient and understanding. I will get her to you if it's the last thing I do!

Well that's boy cat gone. To a man and his girlfriend. The man used to work for a cat rescue and trap and neuter feral cats. Shame he doesn't still have access to the traps!

She was starving and very thirsty. She's had a sachet of kitten meat mixed with kitten milk and sat eating in between hissing at me. Pffft shouldn't have bothered. She'll make a good pie soon.

Oh, she does look like a determined little madam with a need of frequent and regular cuddles. So glad she's out of the fire (hopefully not into the frying pan or pie dish.)

She's shut in the bathroom now. Not allowed out! Her new mum is coming for her tomorrow. Good job because she hates me now!
