Anyone excited for the final season of Succession? *Spoiler alert*

I thought Tom was tipping off Shiv. Although she didn’t seem to grasp the opportunity at first, it was only until she told Roman and Kendall.

Tom teasing Greg about his date’s bag and then stifling a laugh when she told them she’d asked Logan for a selfie was absolute quality. That’s the thing with Tom, he switches between awkward sycophantic oaf to relentless razor sharp put downs in the blink of an eye.

Also liked how everyone was very patronising of “old Nan” but she still managed to squeeze an extra 4 billion despite saying she didn’t want to enter in to a bidding war! 😂

Nan was gloriously despicable. The ‘oh, isn’t money talk so vulgar’ act; but her eyes lit up as the sums kept getting bigger. And the power play: she ‘might’ have a headache coming on 😄

So what’s the deal with Marcia and Logan? I thought the scene with her and her lawyers in S3 was her getting a divorce deal, but then I read a piece in the paper saying she decided to stay with him. But then in this ep she’s gone shopping in Milan ‘for ever’…?

Roman is my favourite. Kieran Culkin is a revelation in this.

I adore Roman. Loved his and Gerri's dynamic too.

One of the three kids looked at a message on their phone and said that someone called “Bun Pierce” was posting on social media about being at Logan’s birthday party. It can’t be coincidence surely that it’s the same surname as Nan Pierce? Could it have been Greg’s “plus one”?

Also, did anyone else notice that when Shiv was talking to her brothers her hair was casual and wavy but by the time they were meeting Nan Pierce her hair was smooth and sleek? They were all wearing the same clothes so clearly it was the same day but it must have been a continuity error.

Now the kids have scuppered logans acquisition of pierce I wonder if he will pull the gopro sale so the "kids" can't liquidate their shares for which they need to buy pierce.

Obviously we need to talk about Tom’s rant about the size of Greg’s date’s bag. “Capacious” 😂😂😂

I’d assume her hairdresser was with them on the plane!

Me & DH were talking about who we want to "win" and its so hard to pick! They are all so unlikeable but there's moments when you really feel for them.

I think I want Roman to triumph. He didn't want to betray his dad at the end of last series but got swept away with his siblings. Same with the first ep in this series - he pointed out that Kendall and Shiv both have other motives, whilst really he just wants to build something credible.

The acting is incredible from everyone, but Matthew McFadyen is just awesome.

The bag thing was great - I think she had brought it as a status prop but it instantly marked her out. I saw an interview with Kieran Culkin when he said the characters never need to wear coats (unless actually out for a walk) because they just move from car to building to plane .. their environment is always at the perfect temperature. And likewise they would never carry a bag for their stuff because someone does that for them / they can leave it in the car between appointments.

Loved it. It just never falters in brilliance.

Really loved Willa's comment on her wedding 'It’s dumb, but I always wanted a nice wedding'. 😂

I agree, I think Roman will go back to Logan. Shiv and Kendall are so patronising to him and he was always loyal to his dad.

I thought the scene with Logan and his bodyguard was excellent. His best pal but as soon as he offered an opinion on anything Logan ignored it and spoke over him. Also Kerry was great in it.

I actually thought of the three of them Roman was the one most likely to go out on his own. He actually wanted to do The Hundred, whereas Shiv and Kendall were quite happy to drop it as soon as something more shiny came along. He could also see they were vastly overpaying for Pierce and getting involved in legacy media at a pretty unpromising time.

I think Logan has only ever wanted one of his kids to get off their over-privileged arses and go and make something for themselves, instead of just riding on his coat-tails.

Willa is fantastic - run for your life, Willa! No amount of money is worth this.

Totally agree re Roman - he seems to be becoming the smartest of them but doesn't have the courage in his convictions as the other two so easily talk him down in their entitled way. Reminding the other 2 what in fact half a billion actually meant in real terms whilst they just didn't care. Its all bluster to them,

Roman wanted to pursue The Hundred as it was their own original concept - cut to Logan disparaging them for going to Pierce and not having their own ideas. He seems to be the kid that Logan was always hoping for after all, he just can't execute it because of the other two.

Logan will spike the kids Pierce deal by pulling out of the GoJo sale which will whip away the 5% profit each the kids would have made. He’s going to try and drag Roman away from Kendall and Shiv too, rotten old bastard.

I still don’t see how the entire things ends although I think Logan will die.

Oh I’m sure the writers have begun two days before the sale to garner maximum tension!

I think there is more to Kerry than meets the eye. She will play a part in all of this. Shiv is pregnant in real life she is so blooming gorgeous and completely refreshing. Not in this though shes vile to Tom😃. Im scared for the dog! I want to google those appartments now we know her address.

That apartment is amazing, isn't it? Just mindbogglingly vast for anywhere, let alone Manhattan. Shiv and Tom could have been in there for days before they realised the other was there too.

No I think Tom emerged from another bedroom under the stairs somewhere. Poss the servants' quarters (fittingly). Shiv's dressing room didn't even seem to be on the same floor as her bedroom, which you would think was highly annoying.

I wondered if the Shiv actress was pregnant!

I remember in S2 (I think) when they all went to the Pierces for dinner - it made me like the Roys! At least they are upfront about who they are.

Very good. The kids are so annoying although I really like Roman so I guess it’s just Kendall and Shiv I find very annoying

Love Tom, he’s great as an actor switching from wind up Greg to vulnerable with Shiv

I liked that the kids were subject to the power play they put their own investors through - making them wait outside.

I agree Roman is the one who will break and he's the only one with ideas. The others looked surprised when he knew what he was talking about.

The bit with Shiv and Tom was heartbreaking. But she was vile to him in the last series.

I really can't predict how ot will end. Maybe a massive scandal will bring them all down?
