The trailer has just been released and I can’t wait!

It’s probably my favourite programme atm so it’s a shame it’s ending but I’d rather that than it getting repetitive and dragged out.

I’m actually out tomorrow night so I’m planning on avoiding spoilers and then watching it when I get in. So excited!

My left field prediction is that Logan does and Ewan ends up inheriting everything or being kingmaker with his board seat.

I’ve got the recorder set for 2am tomorrow morning on Sky Atlantic. I’m going try to watch it during the day but no spoilers from me, I promise!

givememarmite · 26/03/2023 18:25

I'm so excited for this, also the first time watching it in real time for and I'm happy I'll be able to join in a thread about it properly 😄

For me it's just the best thing on TV in a very long time...the music, the acting, the awful characters, the beautiful settings, love it all!

hopeishere · 26/03/2023 19:04

Greg is funny - my physical length - but as greedy as the rest of them.

We've just rewatched S3 to prepare. The last episode is amazing.

I love it all - the music, the settings, the plots, the humour. I also love that Sarah Snook is a non standard size.

Mydoghealsmyheart · 26/03/2023 21:14

I saw Brian Cox on tv last night and apparently Sarah Snook didn’t realise it was the final series until the read through of the final episode.

Backstreets · 26/03/2023 21:20

So excited! Tom is my favourite but they’re all fascinating odious worms

SpookyBlackCat · 27/03/2023 09:08

I just watched Episode 1

The Disgusting Brothers?? 😂

I thought the scene with Shiv and Tom was so beautiful. They actually seemed human for a moment.

I feel the Pierce thing must be a huge mistake. They will all be stinking rich. Why risk it? And Connor spending 100s of millions on his campaign. It’s all just an obscene amount of money. And people are actually like this in real life?? It blows my mind!

Mydoghealsmyheart · 27/03/2023 09:29

SpookyBlackCat - I’m going to watch it in a while, can’t wait!

Netaporter · 27/03/2023 14:51

Just watched it. Tom making Greg fess up about what he did in the guest bedroom was genius.

@SpookyBlackCat yep that is the sort of sums involved in USA presidential campaigns. And 💯 the type of personalities involved. So glad we’ve not got to those levels (yet)

Aurignacian · 27/03/2023 19:16

Just about to watch……

Mydoghealsmyheart · 27/03/2023 19:27

Us too…..for the second time already!

Rollergirl11 · 27/03/2023 20:17

Marking place for when I’ve watched later this evening.

tribpot · 27/03/2023 20:30

A great season opener. So tragic to watch them turn their backs on actually building something together in favour of a mega finance deal to piss off Logan.

So incredibly acted as usual, how can Matthew Macfadyen make himself so utterly unattractive, it's astounding. His wind-up of Greg was legendary.

Aurignacian · 27/03/2023 20:44

It was magnificent

Ttwinkletoes · 27/03/2023 20:58

Oooh, great I haven't seen it yet.

I think the theme music and the beginning where we see a younger Logan Roy, anxious kids and disengaged mother is perfect. I hope it's still there.

Backstreets · 27/03/2023 21:01

Tom and Greg had me laughing throughout. "Rummage to fruition" is one for the history books.
Great watching Logan in this as well, he's just a miserable sod and no amount of money will ever change that. He's a fascinating character, I'd watch a prequel about his rise to the top!

Eyesopenwideawake · 27/03/2023 21:06

Just watched it. Perfection.

Majorityofthree23 · 27/03/2023 21:07

Best thing on TV. Tom and Greg are perfect.

givememarmite · 27/03/2023 21:08

Mydoghealsmyheart · 27/03/2023 19:27

Us too…..for the second time already!

I think I'm going to watch it again tomorrow! So many good lines, bet I missed some too.

I agree about Tom winding Greg up, genius work!

MayIDestroyYou · 27/03/2023 22:07

So glad it’s back - the wait was exhausting.

I’ve really missed having to concentrate on every word in a show! Tom and Shiv at the end were spellbinding. But poor lonely Logan - what is the point of all this effort now?

DaveClifton · 27/03/2023 22:30

Just superb. My new favourite character is Willa..."I know it's dumb, but I always wanted a nice wedding..."

betsyannegrey · 27/03/2023 23:25

It was very good. The scene with Logan and Colin in the restaurant almost had me feeling sorry for him!

Tom and Shiv superb at the end, Tom and Greg so cringeworthy, the writing is so, so good.

We were thinking we might watch it again tomorrow to take in all the details!

Roundlampshade · 27/03/2023 23:38

This episode was sublime.

Alwaysworryingoversomething · 27/03/2023 23:57

Absolutely brilliant. I love them (and hate them) all.
Agree with pp, how can Matthew M be so unattractive but he and Shiv were fantastic in that last scene.

Can't wait for next week.

SpookyBlackCat · 28/03/2023 01:54

I loved when Shiv walked into the room and said hello to Roman and kissed him on the cheek and then turned to Kendall and there was kind of an awkward moment and then hello with no kiss. Kendall is always the outsider in his family.

I think Logan likes to surround himself with yes-men and then realises that he despises yes-men. His birthday party was so wonderfully awkward.

I'm still wondering if there was more to Tom's phone call to Shiv about his lunch with Naomi. Was he tipping Shiv off about Pierce? You can't trust any of them.

Yes, the presidential race is insane. He's not even doing it to win, he just wants to get 1% and it's all about his ego. Totally mad!
