Anyone excited for the final season of Succession? *Spoiler alert*

The trailer has just been released and I can’t wait!

It’s probably my favourite programme atm so it’s a shame it’s ending but I’d rather that than it getting repetitive and dragged out.

That romcom spoof is brilliant - and yes, s4 is going to be great, I think. I'm rewatching an episode a day in the lead-up to it. Today was S1E9.

Is it the last one?!? I do appreciate it's good to go out on a high, but I just love it so much. Have rarely seen such uniformly fantastic acting and writing in a show.

I'll be interested to see if/how they develop Connor – if there is a weak link, for me so far it's been him. Tom and Shiv will be NUCLEAR. I love Roman, and Keiran Culkin's performance, so bring him on. Would love to see more of their awful mother too, and for Marcia to come back.

I watched this interview with the composer of the score a while back and found it fascinating, and I'm in no way especially interested in music but Succession has the best theme tune ever.

I had a dream where I saw Succession series 4 and also some of the filming. Brian Cox was impressive, both as an actor and a person and Kieran Culkin had other filming commitments so was only in it towards the end. I had great fun but sadly none of it was real.

Same. Wasn't great. Seemed to go in circles and was too similar to S2. Hopefully S4 is something different.

I love this show!! I'm trying to avoid spoilers though.

Whoever did the casting got it spot on. Everyone is so perfect.

My prediction is that Logan will find a way to live for ever so he never has to find a successor.

It's interesting that Rupert Murdoch just married for a fifth time at age 92.

I agree with all of these. Didn’t Tom himself say to Kendall at one point something like ‘Logan is the only one who never gets fucked over’? He should heed his own words, but he is too drunk on his own perceived cleverness and the thought of finally taking power. Hubris.

Greg has been painted as a naïf, and we’re supposed to have been identifying with him/rooting for him, but I’ve always thought he was one of the nastiest pieces of work in the whole family.

Yes Greg has been the one to watch from the beginning. I’ve never watched it in real time before so this is going to really test my patience 🙂

sometimes (and especially with this being the last series) it's nice to savour a whole episode for a week.

I don't think I could cope with Succession binge-stylee, the people in it are all just so awful (and so well-written and well-acted) that I can only spend an hour a week in their company.

Agree with @MarkWithaC , Greg is a little shitbag. I do like the fact they haven't compromised by having one character who's less hateful than the others. All of them have been so corrupted by money, they're appalling.

I agree that they are all hateful, but also so much dialogue to love. Tom’s sycophantic behaviour, The relationship between Geri and Roman and my fave, Harriet Walter as the kids dreadful mother.

I savour every episode.

I have just watched the 2 min trailer on Sky. I’m so excited. They’re all so corrupt but the dialog is so witty and funny. I really cannot wait for this final season.
