David Mitchell reprises his role as John 'Ludwig' Taylor, the reclusive puzzle-setter thrown into the world of policing after his identical twin brother James, a detective chief inspector, vanished without explanation.

I've rewatced the first series and it's funny but also poignant.

It's my type of show. My sister and I will be discussing it.

While rewatching I really recognized Alice

she is in something called prisoner on sky. Very good . Plays a prison officer who handcuffs herself to a prisoner

Have prepared for Series 2 by rewatching Series 1, two episodes per night for the last three days.

Have watched tonight’s episode. Loved it. 🥰

I read through that summary above from the last episode of the previous series, and am so confused - I've forgotten who people are and what has happened. I remember being a little unclear even at the time, and mostly just watched each episode for the individual stories and puzzles, rather than the continuous story. I hope tonight's episode has just enough recap for new viewers to remind those of us who did see it before what was going on!

Really really sorry but I watched episode one. The trusty teal and mustard colour palette is in place.

they have found all the boxes from Sinclairs house and will look through them to find out what was so important that James had to go and hide

It's all the Sinclair stuff and who was after him and what happened there that I've kind of misted out. And whether he's actually left Lucy deliberately (as in separated in terms of the marriage) as well as just disappeared, and who he suspects, who's a good guy, who's not, who knows what at the station, how much he's been following what's happened from wherever he's disappeared to...

I'm half thinking I should put off watching tonight until I've had time to rewatch the previous one but I think I'll just hope it comes back to me!
