Following on from the last thread...

Carl is still awful.

Mal is dreadful.

Bernie is panicking.

Ma Driscoll is horrendous.

Kit is still fit.

Ronnie and Kevin's new double act is quite entertaining!

Debbie is still in prison.

Hope is still as cheeky as ever.

Brian has lost one of his favourite books!

@Shellingbynight, that’s my point though, why did the registrar not question why Todd arrived somewhere he wasn’t expecting to be? That would make me think that Todd had possibly asked for it to be cancelled and Theo hadn’t done it. Otherwise, surely if he was expecting it, and happy for it to go ahead, then he would have just turned up in a normal way!

I think they ( sort of ) covered that by letting us know the registrar was fairly inexperienced, having been in town planning ( or something? ) up until very recently.

Yes I think someone (Gary?) said he had heard registrar had just been transferred from housing department, so explains his inexperience

I think he’s a huge bloke. He towered over Theo too, who seem tall compared to most other characters. That’s probably why he was cast as Gwarp the giant in Harry Potter!

That bit didn’t make sense to me either, surely the registrar should have taken him to one side to check he was happy to go ahead? I appreciate that he would have originally signed marriage papers etc, but wouldn’t alarm bells have been going off that this wedding had been cancelled, as otherwise why bother blindfolding someone who knows where they’re going?!

I know it’s a soap, I know I’m overthinking it, but that staggered me!

They did that annoying thing that happens sometimes on TV where they made Todd look shocked, and like he was going to say 'no' and then he went aheaed anyway! Hmm

Grawp is largly CGI. George (Tony Maudsley IRL) just provided the movement and facial expressions.
