Mal is dreadful.

Ma Driscoll is horrendous.

Ronnie and Kevin's new double act is quite entertaining!

I hope Dev finds out his wife and step son have stitched him up and comes to his senses.

Every other time she has messed him about he ends up having to apologise

Why on earth are they showing Mel as a man obsessed with Bernie and begging for a night with her? When she willing spent half the night in a hotel room with him, he barely engaged with her, falling asleep on the bed and leaving her to go clubbing alone.

Now you say that @thenightsky we don't really know what happened do we? It cut from the hotel room to Bernie the next morning in a toilet. There may be a flashback where we see what he got up to, they are fond of flashbacks.

I'd much rather see Gareth Pierce win an award for his portrayal of an abuse victim than James Cartwright, he can have a toffee. I don't know how much the direction has to be blamed for Theo's lack of depth so apologies if it should be two toffees.

Was it when they were trying to decide on David's name, back in the day, that TNT was mentioned? I can't remember what the choices were but Gail said the initials, with the surname Tilsley, were going to be TNT and that was an explosive. Something along those lines.

I agree @LesserSpottedCharacter Gareth Pierce has been given a difficult role but he's done his best with it. Whereas I find Theo one dimensional, Carl is a far better actor and better villain. Although there are far too many villains around full stop.

I agree with you @Shellingbynight , Carl is much better. I believed his 'charming' side to begin with, which made his nasty side all the more shocking when it came out.

I have never known one in real life, though I'm sure it happens now and again. Seems like something from the movies.

I would absolutely HATE it, and also wouldn't like a surprise party for a big birthday. And if anyone arranged a strippergram (or whatever they're called these days, like a man attempting to wave his willy in my face,) I would never speak to that person again. In fact I would run a mile from a strippergram! Everyone who knows me knows to never to do this though!!!

Strip o grams and singing telegrams were big in the 80s! I would also hate any of it and any surprises. Especially a wedding with anyone like Theo :( The man marrying them was funny though.

I wonder if Daniel had an agreement with Bernie for her to pretend to ring room service, so she could leave the phone receiver off, and he could hear her, and see if she was safe? Or did he just see her come into the hotel, and follow her to the room to make sure she was OK?

So Bernie has got barmy Mal to backtrack on the Dev story, at least we didn’t have to suffer a Phelan-Anna scenario. A lot of the current storylines feel really choppy, start to go in one way, divert another way, never really get anywhere.

Sam is becoming paranoid, so he’s going to look like an unreliable witness. I loved Hope’s reaction. She is developing into a female David.

At last Theo is unmasked. George was lovely, but he must realise Theo will monitor Todd’s phone and he shouldn’t send that type of message, lovely as it was.

Hearing Todd saying he needs a break from consummating made me mad and sad

Theo needs to end with a proper conclusion and Theo getting what he deserves, including living to pay the price for Billy
