Ma Driscoll is horrendous.

What I hated most about Theo was when he put that medal around his neck. It was just so humiliating.
He really is piece of work.

Todd reminds me of my friend who has an abusive husband. He's sneaky like Theo with a jolly public face. She's left him about 5 times and each time he's tracked her down and turned up where ever she is. She's currently back with him now.

Have I missed why George knows, with certainty, that Theo is not the right man for Todd? Thought they were all still (annoyingly) in the dark about what's going on.

Don’t think there’s been anything specific - I suppose George just noticed how down Todd always seems to look these days.
I think James ( is that his name? ) suspects something’s not quite right with Todd & Theo.

George needs to stage an intervention.

Theo frightens me - he’s a fantastic actor as I feel afraid every time he’s on screen!

When they did that weird episode with all the dazed/battered baddies set in the future, when was it meant to be? Are we getting near to finding out what it was about?

@Gingercar The flash forward was set on 23 April...after the wedding of Carla and Lisa.
The murder victim could be any 1 of the 5 featured.
I guess we are seeing the ' motives for murder ' explored in the run up.
Still 4 weeks until the murder!

We've got to be getting close haven't we? (To the events in that flashforward episode they showed.) Can't remember when it was now. A few months ago I think.

As has been said Theo is terrifying. Still so pissed off that Todd has had him back, but yes, as a few people have said, some people find it hard to get abusers out of their life.

And yes @JellyBeanSpring25 it looks like the wedding will go ahead!

George and Christina definitely have misgivings about Todd being with Theo though.

I hate to admit this, but Eva's little girl Susie is growing on me. Funny to think that Eva almost handed her over to Toyah all those years ago. (2017 was it?) That scene with her and Will was cute. Will, (in that moment,) was just a big brother having fun with his little sister. Like a 16 year old should be behaving. (And not messing about with/shagging his 30 year old teacher!)

I am also hating Ma Driscoll a bit less.

I’ve not seen today’s episode yet so I don’t know if it’s come up but I was wondering if the Aaliyah/Adam leaked emails and losing clients storyline might be to make them think about what they’re doing to George’s business. Just seems to be too much of a parallel otherwise?

Or am I reading too much into things? 😁 I just thought it might be a way to draw that storyline to a close without actually losing his business.

I'm pleased there's a break from weird Jodie & Carl at the moment. I just want all the nastiness to finish and to have a nice peaceful Coronation Street summer.

I really hope the story with Theo is dealt with properly, ie police, court and prison. I am sick of the way characters in soaps just leave in the back of a taxi or are murdered to finalise a current story.

I’m thinking the murder has got to be to do with Theo just seems too coincidental they’re back together and wedding is imminent it’s all going to come to a head I reckon. So now poor Sam is being harrassed by dopey Dan and has now thrown away any evidence! When did him and Megan Trainer split up? Must have missed that bit. Me thinks Lisa is beginning to resent having baby (don’t even remember the name) in the house.

I said this to my dh last night. Absolutely no child talks like that. It was really grating.

I can't stand her either. American child actors always seem more natural than our "stage school" ones. I like Dorin though.
