Just making a cuppa before setting down to watch something. I was annoyed at some of the media coverage of the Olympic anthem performance failing to mention Cecilia Bartolli. They only mentioned Lang Lang eventhough they performed together.

I don't really like watching sport, but I love the Winter Olympics, it's so thrilling! (Apart from curling, which is like watching paint dry to me). And it's so great that it's in Europe which means you can watch it live instead of staying up till 3 am.😂

I love the curling .

I don't like many of the team things, like Ice hockey , just don't appeal- though I like figure skating. And speed skating- though that can get dangerous too.

GB have just started their mixed doubles curling RR match against Canada- this will be one of the tough matches. But Jen Dodds has got them off to a good start (and Bruce, but mainly Jen).

Following. I like watching this even though our medal count is low compared to other Nordic countries or countries with more snow than we have.

poor Bruce. ‘Not what Bruce wanted there’ is becoming a bit of a theme.

Stayed up far too late to watch the ice dance and pairs last night. Slightly regretting the wine.

I started watching on TNT, and have switched to BBC. They love to remind us that Jen is the one with the gold medal . Poor Bruce.
(He's got plenty of other gold medals, just not an Olympic one).

@Appalonia It takes time and a bit of effort to understand curling. We actually enjoy its slow burn and like something we don’t see often. It’s a bit like chess on ice.

I've gone back to TNT, who have not decided to cut from the curling to an interview about something else.

After the game with Czechia they did an interview with them both which was basically ‘is it easy to remain friends and not get frustrated when Bruce is playing so badly? Why are you playing so badly Bruce?’ It was brutal.
