The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

Sorry if I've left anything out. I'm sure we'll all catch up soon.

Carl will have recorded Theo and somehow it will end up in Debbie's court case

It was nice to see Todd again last night and it was good to see that he was trying to keep the repulsive theo at arm's length.

I think the most obvious thing to do would be to mention it to Leanne.

I doubt Carl is going to do the right thing with his information, he just isn’t a ‘right thing’ type of guy. He will likely use it for his own ends and blackmail Theo. If so, couldn’t happen to a nicer guy!

@zanahoria yes agreed, but... Leanne is a bit of a loose cannon, not sure where that would go. And as PP said, Sam doubtless thinks he knows better than Leanne!

I doubt Leanne would believe him but best to report it to someone rather than wade in rather than risk getting stitched up by Meghan Trainer or duffed up by Will. Nevermind the way he spoke to her, small schoolboys do not usually speak to bigger lads like that

Although it is not weird that Sam is noticing things, it is weird that nobody else does or even thinks it is odd that Meghan Trainer has followed Will across the country, not even Lee noticed that one and he knows that all about her.

On second thoughts, the solution is obvious.

All he has to do is tell Hope because if he tells Hope she will tell everyone else and the whole school will be talking about before the end of the day.

Mind you, he's letting Debbie take the rap for the crash, if he can prove she's not responsible for Billy's death then her punishment should be less.

I'm not really sure how much Carl cares about that, he's only interested in himself - much like Theo! They are cut from the same cloth.

And unless he did record it, he has no evidence.

I wonder if Carl recorded his confession. Did Theo say that he put the belt back on ?

I don't know. Was it ever even mentioned after the wrong one was shown? Or did Carl manage to delete it and they assumed it was gone forever? I'd think it'll still be there somewhere if the right person knows where to look for it.

They said it was deleted, presumably by Carl. That drone footage seems a completely pointless plot point unless it turns up again though.

Apart from conversations in the alley/guinnel. Nobody ever hears those. But most confidential conversations take place in the cafe or Rovers! Theo was pretty unlucky to be overheard in a room with only a dead body!🤣

Please God don't let Theo get hold of Paul's ashes. They are bound to end up somewhere vile. 😥

Why is the singing so bad?

The singing was awful, but I admit I had a tear today.
Billy seemed so loved.
Is Dev married to that lady? They don’t seem very happy. ( don’t know her name sorry)

We all said the same thing here - the church should have been filled to bursting ! Where were all the parishioners , church people , charity workers , friends , neighbours. Why can’t they use cgi or something for crowds if they are too tight to pay for extras !

Or even rope in the full cast. They cram them all in for the karaoke scenes! I went to a funeral of an 86 year old today who had ten times the congregation that Billy had!
