Livingthebestlife · 10/11/2025 11:01

Dropped this morning on Disney.

Wow 😞😞😞😞 am absolutely speechless after watching this. So much we didn't know.

That was her blood on the bed, shame on you The Sun newspaper for buying this photo and stating that it was the bf .

Shame on you the detective who inserted herself into something that was none of her business and made this much worse than it was and for lying.

Shame on you the prosecutor who at Caroline's plea hearing you spoke lies.

Caroline's mum ❤️❤️❤️ her family and friend who were involved in the documentary, very well done and very informative, the newspapers need to print an apology.

OP posts:

I'm sorry but whether or not he wanted her to be prosecuted is irrelevant. There is a really, really good reason that the old practice of dropping domestic violence cases if the victim didn't support it was ended, and it has saved many lives.

Lewis wasn’t the victim of domestic violence though

Whatsmyusername94 · 15/11/2025 11:23

aodirjjd · 10/11/2025 13:24

I really don’t understand why she’s put on this pedestal and how anyone can see her as a victim. She was a repeated domestic abuser who’s partner finally reported her to the police and she killed herself rather than be exposed.

the self harm and threatening further harm js textbook abused behaviour.

It would have been better if she’d got support rather than died but why shouldn’t newspapers report on her crimes?

Edited

have you even watched it? She wasn’t a repeated domestic offender at all. The blood on her bed was her blood because she had harmed herself. It was the first time she had been arrested. They went after her because she was a celebrity.

He was woken up by being hit over the head with a phone - that's DV.

How was he not? He was hit with a phone while he was sleeping.

it was a one off incident that shouldn’t have happened but she was portrayed as a woman who beat him constantly. She did herself worse harm. She threw her phone at him because she saw messages from another woman. He made it sound like she was trying to kill him. He is also a vile bastard who sold a photo of her blood soaked bed to the press, knowing full well it was her blood and that it would make her look bad because she was already being portrayed as an abuser.

You have to throw a phone pretty hard for it to break the skin on the head. That is never ok.
Nobody knows if it was a one off. All dv starts off as a one off - nobody can say if it would have escalated had she lived.
He didn’t sell the photo to the press - he sent it to a friend who sold it (end result the same and may well have been planned but we don’t know so at least let’s state facts)
None of the above is defending him or her, and I do believe the gutter press played a role in this and I still maintain it wouldn’t have got so far if she wasn’t Caroline Flack but let’s not say things that aren’t true/can’t be proved.

So what if the blood on bed was hers? The blood from the cut on her boyfriend’s head wasn’t hers was it? She either threw a phone or a lamp at him hard enough to cut his head. That’s abuse. If I woke up because someone had hit me in the head I wouldn’t think my partner had hit me and call the police, I’d think the ceiling had come down but it would be so unlikely. The fact that he knew straight away and called the police speaks volumes .

Previous partner indicated abuse. History of dating younger men in weird power dynamics.

And? By that logic if a bloke finds messages from another man on his wife's phone then it tickety boo fine for him to throw it at her and cut her head.

There was no blood on the bed that was his. she never threw a lamp at his head either.

Please read the thread.

For any of the armchair legal eagles here who are ‘convinced this was only pursued because of her fame’ - pop along to your local Magistrates court of a day. There will be plenty of defendants in for assault, and the assaults will absolutely be this kind of thing or ‘less bad’ (a shove, an open handed slap, something that doesn’t leave a mark or break the skin).

No and you didn't say it wasn't either. Your post made it sound like Lewis was being OTT about the whole thing, "he made it sound like she was trying to kill him". Well maybe if I'd been woken up be someone lobbing a phone at my head and presumably kicking off I might have thought the same thing. And as for the assertion that she "didn't beat him constantly" that may or may not be true. We don't know.

CPS wanted to only caution her but the police appealed it.

Well according to her it was more of an accident that the phone split his skin. She never once said it was ok and took responsibility. He’s a scumbag for sending someone else a photo of her blood in the room like that. He obviously needs to choose better friends because that photo being out in public when she was accused of being an abuser contributed to her death. Why did he think to take a photo and send it around in her most vulnerable moment?

To play devil's advocate for a minute, she was already threatening suicide at the point of facing the consequences of her actions hence slashing her arms, and there was a history back to her school days of those thoughts and behaviours so it's a bit much to put all the blame for her death on his shoulders.
And maybe he sent the photo because he's an asshole, or maybe because he was traumatised at being assaulted and then having his gf bleeding and hysterical and was in a panic, had been drinking so not thinking clearly and sent it to what he thought was a trusted mate in a 'oh jesus look what's happened, what the f do I do the police were here' etc kind of way, and the friend was the asshole....

It’s so grim that you keep excusing domestic violence. She threw the phone at his head deliberately but the cut it created was accidental? You’d have to throw a phone really hard to do that, they aren’t sharp.

It’s not nice that someone shared those photos , but that’s not why she died or why the press hassled her. They hassled her because she was a famous person who was charged with domestic violence. She killed herself because she was troubled and ashamed of what she had done.

The boyfriend did the right thing calling the police. And cps did the right thing to charge her because throwing a phone at someone and then harming yourself when they say they’ll leave is abusive behaviour and should be taken serious. Not excused because the perpetrator is famous or mentally ill.

Reverse the scenario, imagine your female friend got bashed on the head , it wouldn't be weird for her to send you a photo and say look at the state of the room with blood everywhere. Maybe the friend felt outraged that CF hurt his mate and wanted everyone to know what was going on in a sense of misplaced protectiveness, who knows? Don't jump to calling him a scumbag.

He is a scumbag. The friend felt that outraged for him that they ran to the press? She or he were looking for a paycheque. It wasn’t even his blood so he took a photo when she was going through a really vulnerable moment after self harm and then circulated the photo. Disgusting behaviour. And if the the situation was reversed the friend should have said this blood is not mine, not that anyone needed a photo.
