I don't think Max even knows of Annie's existence? He left in Feb 2021 and she was born in September. I wiki'd Annie, and Jack also knows she is Max's but agreed not to tell anyone.

As soon as Max sees Annie ( who out of all Linda's children is the only one with red hair ) and thinks back to dates of when him'n'Linda DTD , even he will be able to put 2'n'2 together .

(Yes, yes I know red hair can randomly appear in the genetic mix but there must've been a reason they made Annie red haired )
Unless there is a huge drawn out DNA storyline and she turns out to be Mick's after all.

Though it seems ( Zac , looking at you ) that Eastenders Men don't need DNA tests , they just "know" that;s my kid and I want xyz access /rights/ need to know

It’s a shame Annie is only young , otherwise she could dye her hair or put her in a wig ! 😂
Keeping her out the way is the best way to avoid Max ( we never see her anyway ) but I suppose he’ll loudly shuffle into the pub and she’ll be sitting there with Ollie with beautiful red locks and he’ll have a ‘ light bulb ‘ moment ! Or Lauren will tell him.

Today’s one; a bit confused as to why Whitney would be worried about Nicola and her moving to Inverness is random ! What have I missed there ?

Haven't watched it yet , but I assume because she's been told that Nicola is a ' wrong un ' and she's protecting her child and herself from potential assault .

Vicky knows about Barney being Zac’s and so does Whitney ! Although I don’t remember either being told this information previously etc

Ahh! I see now. Zac told Whitney because she had him beaten up ! Makes sense

Didn’t Nicola try to scare Zak off by threatening to harm Whit and Dolly, or did I dream that up?

Probably this about Nicola and Whitney.
I had forgotten all about it until today. Makes sense now, it didn’t earlier on tbh!

She did! Although Zak is clearly not trustworthy because the first thing he did after promising Whitney not to tell anyone where she’d moved was to promptly tell Vicky!

I keep thinking I must have missed an episode. I have no recollection of Whitney or Vicky being told about Barney.
And the baby intercom as a device for overhearing is another bit of lazy writing.

It was random today. I think that the fact they have storylines , then they are dropped and then suddenly restarted is annoying as we all then forget who knows what!

And how does Zac think he's going to get Barney to move to Inverness with him. He needs to let it go.

I have a hazy memory of Vicky going to see Zac and telling him to steer clear of Nicola? I think she may have said in that conversation that Sharon told her about Barney. The problem is she is such an underwhelming actress I zone out of her scenes. She has literally done nothing apart from occasionally shout at Joel and Ross since she arrived. At one point I thought they were lining her up to take over her uncle Martin's stall but she just seems to be drifting around the square, living on what money I have no idea.

Why would Barney want to move to Inverness? He’ll be pretty upset / bewildered when he finds out his true dad is Zac and then he wants to whisk him away to Scotland to live with his half sister Dolly and Whitney and Britney who isn’t even a relative and his never met any of them ! Madness all round !

Zack was talking about Barney like was a parcel he was taking with him. 😆

I didn’t remember Vicky knew about Barney, but I suppose she has to for plot reasons, she is subbing for Sharon while Shaz is ‘visiting Michele’, and Zack has to have someone to divulge plot points to. Vicky still feels very much a bit part.

I loved the terrible acting when Peter was tidying the living room and suddenly noticed the baby in the cot, he looked like he had seen an unexploded bomb!😆

I didn’t really enjoy that episode, too child focussed for me. And too much of Lauren yapping.

I was starting to think maybe Lauren has PND after tonight's episode 🤔

Jean is so selfish for just leaving her depressed/ grieving daughter and the others to it. They have enough problems as it is. I know she’s upset over Harvey , but honestly !
I liked Harvey for telling Kat off for calling Kathy names.
She’s had affairs and hardly a saint herself

Lauren just blames herself and Pe ta did give her a disappointed face when she was taking the prescription methodone.
Linda was good, but Lauren needs a lot more support I suppose.

Jean leaving seemed so abrupt and nonsensical. The Jean we ‘know’ would never leave Stacey and her grandchildren when they’re all still grieving. Maybe the actress had something going on and had to take a break.

I hate how Lauren is guilt tripping herself into trying to breastfeed Jimmy when it's perfectly acceptable to use formula 🙄

I think Jean's absence is to show Stacey's complete lack of interest in helping her kids. Kat did ask though if Stacey is taking her meds, and we don't know the answer to that.

@Meredusoleil We know there IS something wrong with the baby, Lauren is picking up on that.

Yes and Lily's reaction to Kat's question was so disproportionate! Of course she should want her mum to be taking her meds. Otherwise she may have another episode.

It sounded as if Lily's reaction was because she thought if Stacey was not taking her meds, Kat would get the medics to 'take her away'. She saw what happened to Jean a few years ago.
