Kim’s children must live with Howie full time as we never see them and she is never with them.
Pearl went to a posh school once , is she still there or has Kim been hit with the extra VAT fees yet or was it a bursary ? .

Wasn’t it said that the door would be left open for her, which made it sound like it’ll be for much longer than just maternity leave.

I think Pearl was on a bursary because IIRC Kim spent ages bragging about how she had been blessed with such a gifted child (or something along those lines)

I really liked Zoe back in the day. So im glad she's back briefly for now.
I also don't think she looks that different. Still quite young in the face.

Has anyone else noticed that Alfie keeps saying he's recently married as if that farce on Friday was an actual official wedding rather than a fake photo shoot gone wrong?

Zoe is 40 and behaving like 14. She was on good terms with Kat when she left, but they mentioned unseen fall outs along the line to explain why Zoe didn’t turn up for deaths/marriages. IMO the only reason she doesn’t want to see Kat is that Kat will see right through her! She chose to talk to Alfie because he's dim and easily manipulated.

80s Lacey has left and has said it is not a ‘break’. Which means she has no plans to return in a year’s time, but I guess when the kids are older in 3 or 4 years she will turn up again.

Yes all that married blether is annoying, they aren’t married!

That’s a shame about Lacey, but I guess three young children and learning lines and being on set is a lot for her.

The BBC and Lacey have said she’s having a break. It’s not permanent.

The ‘slater dynasty ‘ will continue with Zo and Kat no doubt and Jean trying to stop anyone having any kind of business in the limo/ taxi game !
I read ( Facebook again !) that maybe Zoe’s twin might return too . I always thought he was dead , but maybe not ? He was a priest in Ireland , but it’s vague what became of him to be honest . He might be the new baddie on the block to rival sex offender Joel and his crocodile tears :( who is actually doing a good job !

This has irritated me so much, @Meredusoleil - everyone has been treating the sham wedding as if it was genuine.

And whilst I'm having a moan, every time a character tells another that they're a great mum/dad it's glaringly obvious that they're not!

Rant over (for now).

Oh, the Slaters always want to be ‘ good mums’ or ‘ good parents ‘ but often they are not! The exact opposite most of the time

Another strange episode and now I’m wondering if Zo has murdered someone ! She’s done something ..
How did she get out the window like that ? Must have been a fire escape of some kind.
I thought that Kat would notice her in the hallway at one point.
Why she couldn’t tell anyone what she’s done I’m not sure! The slaters gave done and seen it all! Lol

Ooh, a Hot Priest storyline might just liven things up a bit! 😂

Priest! I don’t think he was remotely hot. More of a cad I think. I have to look it up, but I think he may have even murdered someone ( or tried to murder Kat ?)
I didn’t watch ‘ red water ‘ years ago when they went to find Zoe’s twin brother in Ireland , but it was mostly panned by the critics and I didn’t make past the 1st episode myself.

I wouldn’t mind my new best friend from the pub bank rolling a holiday for me! She doesn’t even know Priya that well. Ridiculous storyline.

Today’s episode was so boring I did my internet shopping at the same time.

The scenes with Zoe hiding were like a Brian Rix farce. Hard to decide who was more annoying, Zoe, Alfie or Jean. Why on earth do they think we care that much about Zoe who we haven’t seen for 20 years. I suppose the ‘bad thing’ she did was dumping her only child, Joel. 🙄

I’ve lost sympathy with Elaine now, she is so self centred and never gives Linda a second thought. I agree 80s re her giving Priya the £5k, not in a million years would Elaine do that, nonsensical.

What was the point of Vicki threatening Joel after paying off his victim. If she was that bothered she would have got the woman to report him. Also nonsensical.

Phil was the highlight again.💕

Elaine has lost the plot ! As dh said, booking it up in another persons name .. does she even know Priya's last name ? .. or ask her ? lol
I could see her paying for a night out on the Thames boat for one night or a blind date night , but a 5k cruise ? .. are the writers losing the plot ?
Far too sensible for them I suppose to keep it cheap but still annoying .

I wish Jean was leaving! She does my ‘ead in as they say.

Jean has been a major pain in the arse this week. I also wasn’t impressed by Elaine playing the victim and saying George drove her to shag someone else. He’s better off without her,

Just pure speculation on my part, but what if it was Zoe who paid the girl off in Australia for Joel and Ross knows all about it? He then borrows from Sharon to give to Zoe but she has spent it on booze , vapes and the dodgy ones in Spain. Some kind of set up ?
She probably feels terrible because of what happened with Kat years ago with her abusive dad and can’t forgive herself ?
It’s a bit confluted , but now Vicki is paying people off too , she can’t really say a lot.

The Zoe stuff is bollocks. Kat would have gone steaming straight into the bedroom at the first noise. Also Alfie needs to stop looking after a grown woman and look out for his teenage son!

They could have set up the Zoe thing a lot better.
I kept thinking that one of them would burst into the room to tidy up ! Or ask to have a look around her new rental ( who was her guarantor , ?
