Most cabbies I’ve ever come across where I live are self employed, but tend to work with one company for the actual work ( so use their system to get the fares) and not freelance with anyone.
He would easily find work with a different company I’m sure , must be loads in and around London who would take him on.

You can 'fire' someone who is working for you as self-employed, you just tell them their services are no longer required. My mother's boyfriend was a self employed minicab driver and was frequently fired (because he was arse😆)

As 80s says Harvey could easily find cabbing work for another company.

It’s just the drama of it all rather than what would happen in real life! Suddenly Kat will realize she has a business and he is on their books as using their system for fares and it’ll be ‘ get out of my cab office ‘ !
(When most people would just leave quietly via email and look for something else asap! )
Although Harv is a bit dim and may think he could carry on working for her .. lol
( even though he is never there anyway !)..

I think Freddie asked Jean if he could call her Nan once and it stuck! They are close to each other , I think it’s nice.
So, is the Albert still Kathy’s or not ? Bit confused there if she is signing it over or not or has she ripped up the document? ( one piece of paper)

Someone mentioned upthread there is a car crash upcoming. There is a short video on Facebook but it doesn't really tell us much. It looks an expensive car - something to do with Teddy?

There should be a Poll , "Who's Going In The Car"? like the "Who Should Have A Seat On The Bus"? ( that crashed with only one casualty who was an unknown anyway .

It;s a nice car but at most 5 seats incl driver .

Kojo being very literal will 'bleed the brakes' , Harry will just blunder in, , re-instate the brakes but no brain fluid ................

I hadn't thought of Junior, I don't mind him going to the big square in the sky. My first choice would be Nicola though, and she can take Teddy with her. 💀

The Daily Mail / Fail has just announced that Max is coming back !
I didn't really read it , but I assume as apart of Staceys exit .

I get the impression he’s back for a long stint.

I know Max is popular, but he isn't popular with me! I hated him with Stacey, a toxic coupling. But I hope he is facilitating Stacey's exit because that means he won't be around long.

At least it means Linda should get some good screen time.

Did Lauren ever tell Max about his and Linda's child (can't remember her name) That's a good storyline.
I love Max as a character, he's a total shit but great.

I suppose he’ll be gunning for Cindy because Jimmy is blind and maybe start an affair with someone , although I can’t think of anyone who’d have him tbh. (I did think Gina, but that is really grim even by EE’s standards especially as he is now much older than he was when he was with young Stacey all those years ago)
Pe ta and Lauren will be in Sonia’s place , so there’s room there for him to live.

Oh yes, invisible Annie is his child too.
Maybe he’ll rescue her from the kiddie cupboards and shout a lot and shuffle around being miserable.

Max and Cindy get together?

Yeah, I did immediately think Cindy , but then he’ll discover the drugs / pregnancy with his daughter and she’ll be in his firing line.

Max had a fling with Lucy years ago , so having a fling with Lucy's mother fits in with Eastenders .
Cindy might think "i've had it with young rich flashy blokes -who just happen to be my sort-of-step-son .....I'm going for an older wealthy bloke , even if he's my daughter-in-laws Dad "
And it will piss Ian right off

Apart from Lauren and Pe ta , there isn’t anyone left for Max really. Annie doesn’t know him and I suppose they will say that baby Abby is with Tanya.
Linda doesn’t need the grief really. Sad for her drudging all that up again and she was on the bottle when she had her fling with him I think.

Ian won’t care , but I suppose they will hiss and spit at each other anyway especially because of Lauren and the drug thing , Max will blame everyone for this.
Id like Tanya back, but that won’t happen I suppose

My memory of it is that Lauren agreed not to tell Max. I think at the time he had disappeared and/or she was annoyed with him.

So he's got Lauren and baby, plus the Annie connection. And Linda is single and wanting to find a man (please - no!). And of course Stacey. I doubt they will miss the chance for a reunion.

I wouldn't mind him getting together with Cindy, then I could fast forward through their scenes😆

So, Max isn’t aware that Annie is his and Linda told him she was Mick’s ( or maybe he didn’t ask) can’t remember
Lauren knows , so that’ll probably come out too amongst the baby Jimmy storyline that’s going to be really upsetting for everyone and so sad :(
