In front of everyone in the Vic, Peter called Saint Kathy a “hypocrite” in today’s episode, which was gratifying.

I know that has always been a huge part of her character but they are overegging it here.

Doesn’t he work in the chippy? I’m sure he shagged Anna on the floor in there once

I liked today’s episode that we won’t have any more back and forth for Harvey which has been driving me mad! I think as someone else said, they’ve over egged the pudding with Cindy now. She’s become a cardboard villain cut out with no depth and nothing likeable about her. It’s completely unrealistic.

I did feel sorry for Jean but was glad that Harvey stood up for himself against her sway and put himself first

Ian sacked Freddie over the Anna / Bobby debarcle

Jean was awful again and I'm glad Harvey binned her off.

@Bunionbabe Cindy does have evidence - now. She didn’t when she started the threats, but this week Kathy admitted it in front of the guests in Harrys Barn. And then kind of re-admitted it on film when she thanked Harvey for giving her an alibi.

So are Kathy and Harvey going to end up in a love nest together, inevitably hating each others guts shortly because no one else will speak to them.

If Gillian T has had ‘work’ it is very good work and I’d like some 😆

Doesn’t Freddy work in the bar Kathy has just given to Cindy?

He might do ! I do lose track of who works where .

Freddie said something about being caught up at The Albert so couldn't make the party in today's episode, so imagine that's where he pretends to work 😅

Some good acting today with Kathy , Harvey and especially Jean.
Once Kat sacks him, he’ll have to get another job and so on, but they always need drivers so he might be ok elsewhere.
Jean just wanted him to stay for everyone else’s sake
I’m glad he finally said no , but it is horrible for her being rejected :(
Sad episode really.

I do feel for Jean but she doesn’t seem to value Harvey much at all, she seems to just want him to be Slater glue for the rest of his life! Even today she talked like he was a consolation prize - not surprised he opted out.

I did feel Jean’s hurt and rejection today , because ( like many folk) we’ve all had relationships that have broken up or don’t work out and it’s hard when your the one on the receiving end of it all.
However, I can also see why he opted out too ( in this case!)
Kathy now has the prospect of an unemployed Harvey in her house next week , or maybe he’ll work in the cafe instead of Nigel ? lol
(She has that business to run still , although the slaters will boycott it!)

Jean in full martyr mode rubber gloves on starting the dishes while Harvey confesses

Jean was perfect with Daniel , it’s a shame he died as they were so good together, could have got married etc. She is so unlucky in love.

Jean and Daniel were a perfect match, I always enjoyed their scenes.
Harvey has no chemistry with either Jean or Kathy, he's just so dull.

Just explaining to my husband (who doesn’t care) that this echoes Sharongate where it was Kathy’s engagement party ruined by the revelation of an affair!!

My dh was the same about EE for years , but his into it now more than I am . Not sure what changed , but I feel it’s just a bit of escapism from life’s stresses and strains.

Jean said something about ‘ ripping each others clothes off’ which Sharon also confessed to with Chelle about Phil and it was recorded by accident.
I did wonder if it was a small homage to that episode.

My DH has been listening to me banging about it for 25 years and still hates it. But he still nods and says ‘yes dear’ cos he’s a saint 😂

I do like Freddie he’s very sweet.

Freddie is sweet. A bit dim at times, but heart in the right place.
Kat had several affairs herself, another hypocrite!

Hasn’t he ‘worked’ there for a while? I seem to remember Anna teaching him how to mix cocktails.

He's not that sweet - he slept with his girlfriend's sister! Although in EastEnders this is not anything unusual😆

Yes, I had forgotten this episode.. Although , it seems, so has everyone else now !
I don’t mind him, but he hasn’t had any proper storylines for a while.
