South I was thinking the same last night in Kathy's scenes. She's older than me and looks ten years younger!

She is five years older in EastEnders!

I remember thinking she looked young to have kid Ian's age when it started.

Now he looks older than her.

Harvey looks like he has been kidnapped by a cult, all those beady eyes and fake smiles surrounding him. I think he has Stockholm syndrome.

I loved the look Kat gave Harvey yesterday. She didn't believe all that nonsense.

Also a Joel fan here, he is a rare talent in this show.
Harvey should have fessed up ages ago .. he always does the wrong thing.

Even Jean mentioned last night that one of Harvey's faults is 'you can never make a decision'! And he never learns.

Whoever wrote ‘ backbone of a whelk ‘ on one these EE threads is correct about Harvey! lol
Still, by upsetting Jean and losing his job with Kat next week etc , he may have time to reflect and get another job with people who may value him a bit more.

He had the perfect opportunity to walk out, say he needed to think then come back and say he had thought and wanted out of the whole relationship.

Oh dear! The fight between Ross and Ravi made me laugh. Not sure why, but it was the way he went for him…
I’m shocked Pe ta didn’t mention that Cindy gave his wife to be drugs when she was pregnant etc.
It would be the first thing I’d say to her tbh ! Unforgivable behavior.
A business is sold then with one piece of paper . I bet that lawyers wished it was as easy as this sometimes.
Poor Jean today though , the ultimate humiliation in the new ( but looks the same ) Vic.
They should ban parties there , always ruined by someone revealing affairs.

Will Cindy be able to live above the Albert? In fact, where is she living or is she commuting in from Gita’s place each day ? She always looks fab, so might even be a close by hotel / spa.
I can see why she wants revenge , but dragging Jean into it is horrible. She really doesn’t give a dam does she :(

Today's episode wasn't too bad. Reminded me of old eastenders with the fist fight and an affair reveal in the vic.
I don't like the new Fowler family. I'm wondering if they have been written in to be disliked and in that case bravo to all.

I noticed this week that the credits still name Chris Clenshaw. I wonder when the new producers episodes will start? It's usually 8ish weeks, surely we have passed that now? It certainly feels like Chris has tried to leave the show in a mess for the new producer

The whole ‘ big reveal ‘ with recordings have been done to death really , but it’s still funny.
Id love to know if it ever happens / happened to anyone in real life. (Maybe I’ll start a thread .. ! lol)
( I can imagine most people would do it in private though , not in front of a big group of friends or relatives)

They are fond of a big on-screen reveal aren't they! Wasn't there one recently done the same way, cast onto a big screen in the pub? At least they didn’t drag out the Cindy blackmailing and reveal.

I don’t like Vicki and Ross, it’s a shame to bring them in with this horrible storyline but they still manage to be really dull. But some lovely scenes with Avani and Suki. I suppose the next phase of the storyline is Joel sending the video to all his mates, this can't be the end of it.

I have phases of liking Alfie then phases or loathing him and I’m in the latter. He is being so OTT. It didn't make sense that he and Freddie were blahing on about the engagement when J&H had made it clear it was a long and low key engagement, not really the sort of thing which gets an announcement in the Vic. I suppose I haven't allowed for the fact both Alfie and Freddie are idiots😆

Cindy and Junior’s big reveal was in the Vic.

Who can forget Grant playing the tape recording of Sharon revealing she slept with Phil. In the packed Vic of course. Someone mentioned in a recent episode that all that happened 32 years ago!!

Does Freddie do any kind of paid work ? ..
It’s amazing how little any of them do and how they pay bills is a mystery. Let alone money for new neck cushions and holidays ! 😂
Ian paying all that money for lobsters was also ridiculous. (Although you do see him working occasionally, unlike the others )

The most unrealistic part of today’s episode was that Cindy was able to link her phone via Bluetooth to the screen and beam up the video… Everyone knows pairing a device takes at least 5 tries and a call to tech support 😂

As soon as I saw those photos in the vic I knew what was going to happen. They’re not very imaginative in EE writers land

I would be at a loss how to link my phone to the laptop or whatever! I am ‘ techno phobic ‘ at the best of times.
Cindy seemed to do it without anyone noticing her and in record time , just before the duff duff’s lol

My iPhone syncs seamlessly with my MacBook and I consider myself adept with I.T, but even I would struggle with remotely playing a video from my phone on my Mac!

Does Cindy even have proof that Kath hit her and Kath could turn the tables and report her for blackmail and extortion. If the police haven't cracked it by now they prob never will. I'm bored with Cindy shrieking about how she was 'left for dead in the street'. She must have said it a hundred times. Would Kath know how to prepare a live lobster? No sign of it at the buffet, unless it was in the 'volly vonts'.

Just thinking that Harvey and Kathy are both very sticky !

If you will excuse me having my claws out for Kathy, there was a comment re how young she looks, I agree there are not many years between her and Ian, but I am almost certain that Gillian Talyforth has has a facelift.

Surely Cindy’s piece of paper can be torn up ? Was it drafted out by a lawyer ? A business deal would have heaps of paperwork!

Cindy really is a spiteful, vindictive bitch, isn't she?

… but , but she was left to die alone in the snow on Christmas Day ! .. 😂
