Maybe it was Tanya and Zoe is a red herring ?
She used to clop around her old salon in heels and would get a train up from the west country.
I did read that there might be a county lines story with Oscar Branning too , so the Brannings might be a family to rival the Mitchell’s ! Max and Teddy might not get on.

Considering the hoo ha over that limo with Harvey and Kathy and Jean getting upset and Kat muscling in , once it was actually stolen nobody seemed too bothered about it did they ? Lol
Money , it’s another world on EE.

Maybe they did a photo shoot before it was stolen ?

That's a point, I think Harvey was in uniform so maybe they had already done a photoshoot. In which case, what was the point of the fake wedding anyway.

Alfie wasn’t even in his wedding garb yet when the limo was stolen.

I agree. Last week has been a real low for EastEnders. None of it made sense with the wedding. The scripts have been abysmal, George's rushed departure was bizarre. Half the characters are away for spurious reasons. It's got to the point where I might stop watching for the first time in 35 years.

I’ve said this before, but I feel the show is in its current state because too many writers are doing their own thing and not talking to each each other enough, and that we’re in a transitional period of executive producers. I also think the cast is too large and the new exec producer should get rid of a few more characters - Harvey and Linda to name a couple. They’re played by two excellent actors but their characters don’t bring much now to EE. Johnny is also a bit of a waste of space.

I remember when Harvey first drove up in the limo, there was a photographer taking pics of the car. Maybe they're the one that stole the limo afterwards?

I think Linda will have a big role to play with Max's return. Harvey has always seemed like a spare part though, and Johnny would not be missed. Surely he needs to go back to lawyering.

Whatever happens from now onwards we can blame the new producer. He has really talked up tomorrow's episode so it had better be good!

So I've got to 9 . Don't much like Nicola but can see her character is there as a baddie so I guess she's staying.

Maybe Mo or Kojo as don't really see how their characters can progress .

That's a good list, and I'd add Howie. It would take me months to notice he was no longer there! Interesting they are almost all male characters.

Nicola must be relatively short term because she's too evil, she's killed someone and can't get away with it for too long.

She admitted she killed Shireen. Benji wouldn't be in jail if they did not have the right body.

Can't remember where I read it , Facebook I think ,on a spoiler page ..but it might not be true

Funniest line for me was when Elaine told L about her ONS in the barrel store.

L - Who was it? Oh, it’s not Ian is it?
E (in horrified tone) - Absolutely not! What do you think of me? No!

Nicola is a man's woman and has no female friends. This could be fatal for her character as no women will have her back in a crisis.

I like Howie, him and Kim are the only happy couple on the square!

Can just see the upcoming trailers for this Christmas show down with the tag line
’The One’, instead of The Six, and just Nicola standing there looking all menacing 😂

Nic is a great baddie but needs some other qualities to balance our her dark triad traits and make her more relatable, which would improve her chances of survival on the square - which is run by, and for, women.

Nugget would be top of my list to go.

I don’t mind Mo, though I could do with hearing a bit less detail of what she gets up to with Fat Elvis.

I like Elaine. That was funny @NowNumber5 when she was so aghast about the suggestion she’d been at it with Ian! Why George thought of that I have no idea.

Just wanted to add that when Colin Salmon joined EE, I was so pleased as he is a real Eastender and really classy. However his EE character is boring and the storylines were drab, not sure about Elaine either, her role was reactionary at best, flouncing around in her lingerie and mosh pit boots. Hilarious how Kim keeps calling her Lorraine, and Elaine's reaction is always " it's Elaine."
Bungalow Billy, Jean and Pe-ta can go, my favourites are Sharon, Linda and Kim. I quite liked Alfie in the early days but his character is pathetic now, everything he is involved in ends in disaster.

George’s baby farming story was the total opposite of boring in my view but in general the character has been disappointing. He’s not in it much, though, so Colin Salmon doesn’t get opportunities to have any decent stories.

I’m slightly annoyed there’s no new episode to watch now. Then again I’m not that excited about the episode later because Zoe wasn’t really in the iconic character league so all this hype isn’t warranted. I guess the new executive producer wants to be provocative.

Most of the teens could go and I wouldn’t miss them.
I like Priya and I’d like Linda to do more.
Zoe was always boring , if it’s her coming back then not too impressed , but it’ll give Kat something to do I guess!

George had some great storylines in his first year, but he has sort of ground to a halt now.

@Bluesandwhites how could I have forgotten to add Pe Ta to my cull list!

@Southeastdweller I agree, if the hype and episode withholding is just for the a glimpse of Zoe they may as well not have bothered because they failed to keep it a secret.
