Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

I think if Zoe being Jo 90's mum was true there would be some hinting going on. Talking about Zoe and strange comments about "family".

xXxSideshowAuntSallyXx · 12/06/2025 08:16

Didn't Michelle Ryan say she'd never go back? Also why bring back yet another character? Can they not think of new characters?

The revolving door of returning characters is really boring.

Southeastdweller · 12/06/2025 08:23

A dreary episode today, mainly focused on Kat and Alfie. I’m looking forward to him bringing off my screen for a few months. George and Elaine split up again.

Giantjoelguesser · 12/06/2025 08:52

What sways me to thinking it's fake, is that Kat likes to think she is all about family, and if Joel was her (first) grandchild, she most definitely would be fighting his corner. This would conflict with her own morals and life experiences. I can't imagine her ever condoning/excusing the type of behaviour he is displaying. Although ee have changed alot of the characters personalities recently, so who knows

Shellingbynight · 12/06/2025 09:04

Look at the way the headline is phrased with the quote marks. The 'story' came from Reach Newspapers and is just gleaned from comments on Twitter, they have a dozen titles and they spread these daft stories everywhere to get clicks. It's fan speculation.

EastEnders fans 'work out' Joel Marshall is the real son of Walford legend

EastEnders fans are convinced that Joel Marshall is the son of one Walford icon.

I liked that Elaine confessed immediately to George about her ONS - it felt true to the character. I also really liked the short scene between her and Gina, where Gina acknowledged how Elaine is a mother figure to her. The Kat and Alfie stuff - yawn. Felt like I've watched variations of the same scenes between them for years. The incel storyline is chilling - turns my stomach to think how many men buy into this shit in real life.

cramptramp · 12/06/2025 09:27

Today’s episode started as another yawn fest re Kat and Alfie. When they run out in the square looking for each other, why would all of those people still be standing around? Elaine and George deciding to split up so quickly was daft. I hope Elaine doesn’t leave, she’s a good actress.

the80sweregreat · 12/06/2025 11:11

Maybe Harriet Thorpe has had enough of those nasty shoes and boots and has decided to leave. Although I haven’t seen any spoilers etc

Shellingbynight · 12/06/2025 11:57

I like Elaine. I really want her and Linda running the Albert, they'd be perfect for it. (It is ridiculous though that Walford has enough clientele to sustain two bars and a club!)

the80sweregreat · 12/06/2025 12:01

Maybe Elaine will ask Drew Peacock to be an investor in the Albert ! Cindy can’t manage it (it seems) and those two seem to get on. I don’t think he has much money though , so might not be a goer or a popular character so maybe not.

Shellingbynight · 12/06/2025 12:45

If Elaine sells her share of the Vic she could use it to buy the Albert. I think Linda also has a share of the Vic? So they will have money.

How Kat is going to buy the Vic is the real question!

the80sweregreat · 12/06/2025 13:06

Poor old Elaine and she sought out his old boxing gloves too! was bored today by the Alfie show and I like them usually! I suppose we have been there before with them being on and off.
Joel is a nasty vile human being and I hope Tommy gets a grip of how bad he can be.
Good actor though.
At least honey was funny and Kim always has a good time regardless of any other drama.

the80sweregreat · 12/06/2025 13:13

I wonder if the writers wanted a George / Cindy affair , but neither actor could commit ( esp as she is doing the fringe this year etc)
.. So they are written out instead ( Cindy must be going soon I suppose ?)
Elaine can run that place alone, but it is sad it has ended like this

gingercat02 · 12/06/2025 20:54

Bloody hell Joel is a real little scroat! Tommy is disturbed enough with out porn and incels!
Hate Alfie but suppose him and Kat are meant to be 🤮
Probably done caring at that point

xXxSideshowAuntSallyXx · 13/06/2025 05:22

I liked Tommy's speech and Gina's scene with Elaine. George is a hypocrite, he's treated her appallingly, constantly lying and running off to Cindy. I hope it's not the end of them and I hope he doesn't go to Cindy but as the writers have no imagination he probably will.

The Incel stuff needs to stop. Right now there's too much teen stuff and I'm not interested. It's almost like Hollyoaks, who did the incel storyline a while ago.

Shellingbynight · 13/06/2025 08:22

It looked like George actually left the Square (probably went to Sabrina!)

I liked Tommy’s speech. I also liked Phil's input with Alfie. New Phil is a great character (what's happening to Nigel, left on his own setting fire to the grill at home....)

The actor playing Joel is really good, shame such a horrible character but he is playing a blinder.

George really is a total hypocrite, but I expected nothing less! Elaine is far better off without him. He would have been back to colluding with Cindy and “I only didn’t tell you because you’d be upset” by next month anyway. I was glad Gina came back to sympathise with Elaine.

Next week Elaine is partying and throwing money down the drain, leaving Linda to deal with everything. She has never been mother of the year!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 13/06/2025 11:30

I quite liked CPS Man (Cheap Polyester Suit) he had a quirky charm and yes of course he'll be back .
Probably acting for the sale of the Vic Grin

Surprised to see Phil in the Arches , not in a boilersuit or actually doing anything but the was a car with its bonnet up ,

OpalescentFruit · 13/06/2025 12:03

Also liked Mr Suit! Would be interesting if he sticks around.

the80sweregreat · 13/06/2025 12:38

Mr suit was ok! ( probably means his another Reiss)

thisoldcity · 13/06/2025 18:33

I like New Phil as well - as always it shows what a good actor he is because it’s somehow totally plausible he’s gone from thuggish Phil to something much wiser and more compassionate but also still strong. His straight talking to Alfie was spot on, though I did I have my hopes that Kat and Alfie would finally split up…

Giantjoelguesser · 14/06/2025 08:26

There's no early iplayer episode on Monday

Giantjoelguesser · 14/06/2025 08:26

There's no early iplayer episode on Monday

Sky Planner is pretty vague and unexciting. Jean takes action to right a wrong. Alfie is clearly hiding something, and George gets some advice.

Sounds uneventful, unless they find out about Joel.

Shellingbynight · 14/06/2025 08:40

Apparently there is no early release because 'something big is coming'

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/eastenders/a65058569/eastenders-spoilers-second-change-monday-iplayer-ben-wadey/

In a statement, Ben has teased that next week’s episodes will kick off a huge new chapter in Walford, in a story that he hopes will generate conversation amongst fans.
"Next week marks the start of something big in Walford that we hope will get everyone talking," he said, "and it’s only just the beginning. We’ve got twists, shocks, and plenty of drama lined up for a summer you don’t want to miss."

EastEnders confirms a second huge change to Monday's episode

JessyCarr · 14/06/2025 08:49

My predictions (though I was wrong about the Big Thing happening on Friday 13th):

Alfie will leave and will not go through with the legal marriage to Kat.
Joel will do something awful (illegal) and implicate Tommy.

Southeastdweller · 14/06/2025 08:54

My guess about the Monday episode is that Zoe returns, or Max. More likely Zoe.
