Do you remember when Shirley went missing after being threatened and confronted by a gangster? I thought she was never going to be seen again, like Vincent (it was about the same time) but she turned up again months later.

Thought Honey was manic (eyes & teeth) when she was meant to be pacifying Nigel.

I don’t recall Shirley going missing at all tbh!
Was this when Mick was around or before the carters arrived? She was in it a while before Mick and co

Zach looked amazingly clean and tidy today considering he’d just been in a lake.

So he's alive?

He is, yes. Such a huge shocker.

Something I meant to mention last night - how on earth did Vicky manage to break down Teddy's front door? She must be stronger than she looks😆

I was thinking about how Billy and Honey so quickly adapting to covering up Zack’s ‘death’ made a mockery of their emphasis on ‘faaaamly’ - being Sharon’s brother, and Sharon being Phil’s ex, means Zack was family for such a long time - until he wasn’t. Did Honey not realise that could be her in the future if anything happened between her and Billy?

Watched today’s and it continues with the bizarro land theme. I don’t know who wrote this weeks episodes but they made no sense at all.

Zack being alive was not a shock but the ending was just super weird with the Mitchell clan pretending everything was fine and playing a board game. What a weird way to expose this long running secret that could have been done so much better!!

Zack’s door keys survived , unless he found a spare under the plant pot.
Anyone notice in the bar the music at one point was ‘ love is a losing game ‘ by Amy winehouse ! I love that song and might be a pointer to what happens to Nicola at a later date. Despite all the angst, they find time to put their music on!
I thought this episode was better than yesterday, despite the ending as all being ok again especially as Harry really loved Shireen.
Would you let that go so easily and she’s got away with killing her. It’s all so bizarre.
I suppose Zack will go to visit Dolly now for a break, how could you live with all these secrets!

It’s all about Lauren and the dreaded Pe ta next week .. might be even more depressing than this weeks one was!

This week has been too Mitchell-centric for me so I’m looking forward to next week’s change of focus.

I am not sure I can take a whole week of Peter trying to emote. And blaming Lauren yet again.

But I suppose it can't be worse than this week's nonsense!

What the chuff! Zack looked drier than I did when I got caught in the rain shower the other day!
And where is this “lake”, that he could get home so quickly?!

Zack really has been a total plonker lately. The idea that Barney needed to be “rescued” by him, a virtual stranger whatever the DNA, from the parents who have brought him up for the last 15/16 years was absurd. They may be crooked as the Krays, but has he never heard of “faaamily”? Barney isn’t at risk. He’s also right in the middle of his GCSEs!

If Zack wants to be a proper Dad, he really ought to go and spend some proper time with Dolly.

Also, someone in wardrobe really hates Harry. Please can we never see that awful “my head’s been cut off, and is only held on by a bandage” fleece again!

Nic deserves prison though , she murdered and covered it up. All this ‘ oh, it was an accident ‘ is rubbish. Call it in , don’t give £££ to dodgy hit men to sort it out for you , plus his doing time for something he didn’t do !
( I know that Linda also got away with manslaughter too etc ! lol)
However , the Mitchell’s soldier on and Teddy now knows that Billy and Honey are on his side too because it’s familyyyy eh ?
I hope Zac goes away to find some better clothes and maybe visit his own family. He needs a bit of R and R and stop obsessing over Barney who seems happy enough to live with his very dodgy mum and the man he calls dad ! At least he can pass all his exams now in peace !

Lakes, woods , the other secret cafe in the park , the hospital and police station are all within walking distance of this area of the East end! Was ever thus.
Although how Zack got back so fast wringing wet wasn’t really addressed. Bit like how did Bianca escape the lock up, left to us to only wonder how !

What relation is Barney now to Sharon , Vicky etc?
Sharon’s half brother is Barney’s dad , so a step half nephew ? Vicky is his step half sister but not blood related ? Or not a relation ?

Technically Sharon and Vicky are not even true half sisters. Sharon was adopted by Den & Angie .
Vicky's father was Den , so it is in name only .

Sharon's true father was Zac' s father so they are true half siblings so I think Barney is Sharon's half nephew .
Zac & Vicky are not related in any way so Barney isn't anyone to Vicky .
But don't forget it's Eastenders so they are all Fam- millly !

Barney isn’t a real Mitchell now is he ! He’ll be an outliner like Jay is.
Being related to Gavin Sullivan isn’t great , even if he is dead. Poor Barney !

Was the lake in the Epping forest? That was what I assumed as it was the only place that seemed to fit. What bridge were they on?

What absolute rubbish this week has been. Zack behaving like a total idiot the entire time for plot reasons. Where does he go from here? Will he ‘do a Sharon’ and disappear for several months.

And now the New Mitchells are all going to sit around the table and forget Nic killed Shireen because Barney wants a nice family? Terrible family and terrible storyline.
