I loved Harry and Teddy’s first scene (there’s a first time for everything!). “Since you were with mum, this thing called consent has happened…. Don’t go over there like that, it’s a bit serial killer…”

I also liked the scene with Winston, that was unexpected and quite funny.

Nicola’s hair is awful. And I still find her annoying. Nearly as annoying as Lauren.

I’m not even going there with the Nish plot.

Nish is not hiding in a lockup like where Reiss took Bianca. He is squatting in an abandoned basement flat just off the square.

Just wanted to express my exasperation with
A Blinkin' Jean ! How can anyone be so gullible? It looked like she was as high as a kite when she initially spoke to her "pension advisors".
B How a terminally ill man can bribe a "doctor" to fool his family he has hours to live, and then hire some heavies to hi-jack an ambulance.
C EE is compelling viewing for me, but all these murders, kidnapping, past extortion, blackmail, sieges, hold ups etc, to happen in a small residential square

The prison quack, sorry, doctor, looks like the same actor who played evil Gray.

But Phil has the magic safe in his house. There's permanently 30-40 grand in cash in there. It replenishes itself regularly.

Neither Phil nor Teddy are much of a catch though. If Grant is back for the 40th anniversary Sharon will no doubt fall at his feet.

Seems I'm in the minority liking Nicola Mitchell then !
If it's not a wig, she seems to have similar hair to me with a double crown where it falls forwards a lot and sticks out at the sides
Mine is a bit longer though.
She is feisty and I like that about her

Phil probs has more dirty cash than Teddy , but his the one who's lonely !

They seem to be having hairstyling issues on set, what with Nicola and Sharon! I think they have just foisted Nicola on us in too much of a rush, we didn't get a chance to know her before she's crashing in on everyonelse's life.

I think Teddy has more dirty money than Phil. Phil has sold Peggy's so that must give him some cash sloshing around but the garage is not operational now, he has no mechanics! Does he still own/part own the gym?

Phil and Sharon still own the gym.
Harry was running the arches , yet that's gone quiet and he is now working for him mum and will be the manager of Peggy's ( or whatever they will rename it , I read ' Barney's barn ') and be licensee of this.
Although he looks a bit of a ' bonehead ' to me and not licensee material , but what do I know !
Kathy runs two places , cafe , Albert and Ian and Cindy has pies.
Many people work in the Vic , that must make a fortune

I actually thought he was Gray at first! He has the same mannerisms as well.

Surely you would need sign off from more than just one doctor to confirm Nish was as sick as he was pretending to be and transfer him to a hospice. None of the nursing staff realised that his vital signs were not actually that bad and the oxygen, tubes etc were all for show? They must have trained at the same place as super nurse Sonia.

I don't think I we are due to see Grant ( Ross Kemp ) back in an episode , it's going to be a documentary.

You mentioned Jumpers having a huge bank balance ! Is that what his ex wife is after, even though she already has her settlement? Think Sharon just wants company, as she is independent, but surely she 's not fooled by Jumper's classic good looks and charm?
If this was real life, anyone with a stalker like Nicola would be urged to go to the police, blinkin' heck it looks like the woman is obsessed, and he's no catch apart from a lovely house, would women be willing to settle for money, when Jumpers needs a bag over his head?

Nicola and Jumpers have ' istory ' innit it !
He saved her and her friend from the Ferris wheel in Brighton in the 80s I am guessing , so she feels they belong together! She isn't happy his an item with Sharon at all .. that woman is a ' floosy ' or however you spell it

Do you think we could do an FOI to find out who is wearing wigs, hair systems, extensions and who has had a hair transplant?

As 80s says it the 'history', they got together very young, back when Teddy had a mullet (I'm just trying to process that thought....😆). But I'm sure she isn't averse to the dosh either! I agree he isn't very appealing 😆

Sharon knows not to be caught off guard by a good looking rogue , her Dad, Dirty Den was the rogueist of the roguey .

I quite like Jumpers , he does a cute thing with his top lip when he smiles but I wouldn't trust him a millimetre . If he does a favour , he;ll want something in return.

The only wig I've noticed recently is Sharon's one tbh. I don't think Nicola has one on.
Elaine's ones are ' big hair' and they suit her personality. Be interesting to see what she looks like without one.
Not sure who else wears one ? Do the men wear toupees ?

@usernother I listen to the Richard Osman/Marina Hyde podcasts and they were talking about that in one episode. They said on soaps and dramas actresses often wear wigs so their hair always looks the same and they don't have to worry about continuity (so can have their own hair cut/styled differently whenever they like). And apparently a lot of male actors used the Covid lockdown period to have hair transplants. Sadly they did not name names😆

I quite fancy Jumpers too
Phil can be pleasant, but he has a pickled liver and ' issues ' and many children he doesn't see much and generally a Mitchell wrong un at times. He threw Sharon out into the snow pregnant once. Yet other times he is ' Mr reliable ' and handy for money / help in a crisis
I'd miss him and his Harrington jacket if ( and when ) he leaves though.
He was good with Kat , but messed that up.

Some wigs are cool ! Especially the expensive real hair ones , I'd love to try one of those on one day! Just to see what a difference it makes to your generally look

I agree some wigs look great. I suspect some of the cast wear wigs and we don't even realise. Possibly Denise.

Yes , Phil had a transplant and went on the orange juice . His liver is fine but I bet the inside of his stomach is a right old acid-ey mess
