Anyone watching this? Started tonight. I'd never heard of Emma Sidi before, I think she's funny..

Although I didn't get the vinegar task...

Yes, I would agree. It's normally really entertaining - perhaps the tasks will get better.

I think it's going to be a bit of a disappointment as all the tasks have to be based around Rosie, who I can't stand since her disgusting remarks about Greta.

I was quite disappointed with it. The tasks weren't the best and I'm not sure about the combination of contestants.

Anyone got tickets for the filming of the next series? I think that's happening around now?

Really don’t like Rosie Jones, so I’m giving this series a miss.

It was on The Last Leg. People were talking about Greta in her early days of protest. Rosie said words to the effect that she should be being fingered in the park like other girls. There was outrage at the time. Kathryn Ryan defended her so she went on my disgust list as well.

Absolutely can't stand Rosie Jones, so am gutted that she's on this series as I was so happy that Jack Dee was going to be on. I like all the other contestants, and Babatunde was very funny, but Rosie is ruining it. Ended up fast forwarding her bits.

Last night was my first experience of Rosie, Emma and Baba.
I loved the contrast between Rosie’s huge excitement and Jack’s absolute lack of it. I really enjoy Jack and Andy on their separate radio 4 programmes, so was looking forward to this series, but agree last night was a bit flat, I think none of them really thought differently to each other during the task so the results were all quite same, I love the series where you have one contentment who does one extreme, one who does another and then the others fall somewhere in the middle. Maybe it was the tasks, maybe it was the contestants, I guess we shall see throughout the series.

I enjoy this programme but agree that the new series is a bit lacklustre so far, but only one episode in so too early to tell. Emma Sidi is very funny so I'm hoping it will improve over the coming weeks.

She popped up in "Ghosts" as Kittys sister.

Just placemarking. We saw an episode of it being filmed! Haven't watched this yet though.

I’m a big Taskmaster fan (except for S8, can’t bear Lou Sanders).

I reckon this one has promise. Andy, Baba & Emma were great fun and seem to love a bit of studio banter. Emma made me laugh so much in the can task, she’s really likeable.

Jack is a legend, and did not disappoint at all. I’ve liked the way this show has displayed a performer’s real personality, and it seems Jack’s isn’t far from his act.

Not liking Rosie so far though. Saying she was the most beautiful girl in the world (or something like that) didn’t make me warm to her. I love to see confidence in a woman (like Joanne McNally last series absolutely rocked), but found her really grating.

I love Taskmaster since I discovered it about 5 series ago. However I don’t enjoy (ie can’t bear) Rosie Jones so binned it about half way through episode 1. Now I’m watching the first ever series instead - quite fun seeing how it’s evolved since then!

I don't think Rosie actually thinks she is the most beautiful woman in the world... it was a joke.

Wow a lot of hate for Rosie Jones. I thought she was great. I agree the studio task was really unclear, but I enjoyed the rest.

it is odd. I don't find her funny, but i don't find a lot of comedians funny.

Not sure yet, I do think the tasks might be geared a bit towards Rosie's abilities, (and I'm not a fan of her anyway), but we shall see.

Love Andy Zaltzman, He hosts the News Quiz on Radio 4, and he's very funny, although his love of cricket gets shoe-horned into everything !

Why does it have to be "hate" cant people just find her not funny?
