Joel's the baddie, and Lauren is still missing
Roy's a free man, and Carla and Swain are close to kissing
Will Bethany quit moaning, she does it all the time!
Sarah is still hot, but needs to slow down on the wine

Leanne's missing too, has that cult bloke kidnapped her then?
And where are the quads, does anyone ever see them?
Paul's still alive, hanging on and on in there
Cop Kit's a bit tasty but a bit annoying and hard to bear

Not much with the Platts or the Barlows or The Rovers
Carla's pub money being stolen by Jenny and Daisy has been glossed over
Adam still has his wacky hair that's a bit greasy
Daniel's still boring, yet the cutest girls to him come easy

The school bully storyline has eased off a bit
So Maria can chill - and Sarah can get off with Kit
I hope it's OK for me to start this new thread my friends

I actually thought Beth and Kirk split up after whatever it was that happened (the Marco thing?) and I didn't know they were together again. They may have had a wedding at some point, I would have fast forwarded if they did!

I could have sworn they married a few years ago. One of those "hilarious" themed 80s weddings. Must have imagined it!

I thought when Todd called round and billy said Paul was asleep he was going to be discovered dead. The Beth and her locker and secret money is also v boring!! Especially as it seems they are already married.

Oh yes, I remember the Beth/Kirk wedding. I'd forgotten that Beth and Tracy used to be best buddies too.

Weird how the writers have forgotten though. Its not that long ago.

According to Corrie fandom, they did get married in 2015 but Kirk discovered Beth was still legally married to Craig’s dad so it was a bigamous wedding and not a proper one

No, it was Abby who was the arsonist surely. She decided to pop out and would not let Kev go with her. Came back, office had been burnt to ground. She also did one of those 'slightly guilty/pleased' faces.

@Wishimaywishimight Billy and Kev both look like they spent their summer in Barbados, not Weatherfield!

I think Stefan might have set fire to it himself. So we'll have weeks of Kevin doubting Abby (and/or she'll wrongly get arrested for it) and have Jack skulking in his room.

God, I cannot be arsed with the Stefan storyline. And if I hear the word 'deepfake' one more time ....

Oh, you think Stefan set fire to it in order to blame Abby? Entirely possible, he seems extraordinarily vengeful. Then again so does she 😆

I was confused by Joel's daughter. She is supposed to be about 18 months old but she looked much younger. It was noticeable because of the timescale of Joel's marriage, baby's birth, him dating DeeDee.

Was that actually his daughter though? Would he deceive DeeDee by saying it’s his daughter but could be his niece lol (if he has siblings, can’t remember if he does)

My husband thinks that she isn't his daughter.
I have zero interest in Stefan.

I think.. Abi didn't set fire to Stefans office... just because we all suspect she did...

And smarmy Stefan, in handing over the phone, will inadvertently provide some evidence that links videos from his office with the deep fake videos... hoist by his own petard (and perhaps he's realised that a little too late and burnt down his own office block but i think Jack is more like, he's cut from the same over-reacting non-rational cloth as Kev is).

In the time it took for Jack to go next door for milk Stefan had already located the phone and left. Unbelievable !

It takes me about 10 minutes to find my own phone. Stefan must have superpowers.

We did see the ex-wife for a few episodes and they talked about the baby and his access to her.

@JewelleryCat whether she is or not, the child was too young for the story he told about his daughter.

@JellyBeanFactory I thought I remembered the parents talking about the wife/daughter.

It was a very odd 'mistake' (even for Corrie!), as if they suddenly realised they needed his child in the episode and didn't have one the right age. Wouldn't put it past them😆

The Joel storyline has done no favours for DeeDee, reduced to sitting all evening gooey eyed at a brides magazine. She hasn't even mentioned her dying friend Paul, who she was originally so close to. I liked their scenes together but she has forgotten him😢
