You're right @the80sweregreat she has always been nasty, I had just forgotten because she has done nothing for so long! On her arrival to the Square she planted drugs in Lauren's bag which got her arrested. I don't know why they are still friends but I guess Lauren is pretty dim.

Penny has never been a nice character, even when she was a child. She has always had understandably a massive chip on her shoulder about the shooting and her absent father.
The Reiss story is dreadful, so many errors in the storyline and poor Son telling everyone she wishes Debbie was dead.

I would love to see Penny's relationship with Jack explored - after all, it was him who (indirectly) put her in a wheelchair.

Penny won Lauren round by admitting that she planted the drugs on her and stitching up the lady dealer in Paris with the police!
I agree that you'd avoid her like the plague , but they always forgive and forget on EE.
I hope Chelsea gets some revenge on her.
I believe that Penny used the service lift once as she moaned about it to Phil, so that's how she can get to work. She'll probably have a bigger one put in now or a ramp made or something!

This is probably why I forgot how bad she was, she's not had a story for so long that she just blended into the stall wheeling out occasionally have sex with random Mitchells.

Penny clearly has dreams of making it big and running the stall wasn't doing it for her !
Just a shame she uses dirty tactics to get it though.
Who is running the stall now ? It's not hers to sell on is it ? ( not sure how that works with markets)

She maybe passed it on it was Whitneys stall wasn't it? Market holders are self employed but rent their pitch so she could easily just give it up,

Penny always strikes me as a proper Girls' Girl all this "we're sisters" she had with Amy then Chelsea.

Penny is sooooooooooo going to get it on with Ravi .
The fact that he had a thing with Chelsea and it didn't end well and when she finds out Ravi had a thing for her step-mother (Denise) it will make him all the more attractive ,

I agree with others though. She's an awful character at the moment. Hasn't been developed at all so just comes across like a nasty piece of work. The redemption arc is going to be a difficult journey for the fans

And I struggle to care about Reiss/Sonia/Debbie. It seemed so ridiculous that someone seemingly so intelligent would resort so quickly to murder. And Sonia is such a wet blanket that I honestly don't care that she's going to be shafted

But I did enjoy the Tommy/Kat storyline and agree Alfie handled it well.

It's already been confirmed by Chelsea thar sex with Ravi was amazing .
So unless Penny fancies taking on Phil-Best-Sex-I-Ever-Had-Mitchell then the pickings on the Square are slim !

And the added bonus of how much it would piss off her Dad .

And maybe Penny can raid the stall for some clothes that fit him

I don't think Phil would go for Penny, but this is EE where his been around the block a lot and seems irresistible to most women , so who knows? Jack wouldn't like it despite his own checkered history with the Mitchell crowd.

I am waiting to see if Nicola McAuliffe is going to be be full on Sheila Sabatini (Surgical Spirit) as Debbies Mum.
If so , Sonia's appearance will be a huge surprise to her and her lip will curl when Sonia says "We are pregnant"

Hopefully it won;t be another Patsy Kensit scenario ( I had great hopes as PK was brilliant in Emmerdale but in Eastenders she was as wooden as the menu board outside of the E20)

Patsy Kensit was odd. It seems they just brought her back to break up Phil’s marriage, she served no other purpose. And after blackmailing him to get access to her beloved Lexi she just disappeared. Agree her performances were very stilted. She is or was a really good actress so not sure what happened there.

It's sad that Patsy Kensit wasn't great as Emma , she did look uncomfortable/ phoning it in. I heard she was very good in Emmerdale years ago , but I don't watch that.

I also remember Nichola McAuliffe in Surgical Spirit and I'm looking forward to seeing her next week in EE.
