I’m guessing the scene with the nurse berating Sonia for not signing in will be significant when it comes to her getting the blame,

I think so. And I note there’s no spoilers out there about her and Reiss for next week - that usually indicates something big’s going to happen in the last episode of the week before (tomorrow).

Something big has already happened in today's episode! Not a surprise, I’ve been waiting for Reiss to wield the pillow.

Presumably the care home will think Debbie has died naturally. I think it is quite hard to detect suffocation and her death would not be unexpected. I find it incredible there is not only no care, but no supervision of Debbie (but nice the nurses had a moment to apply some lipstick for her.)

But there must be a reason Sonia visited and was shouted at. And handled the pillow. But I still can't see why the death would be suspicious, and I would have thought it suits the plot to weave on a while longer so Reiss can do more dastardly deeds.

This was a really miserable episode, everyone behaved so horribly, Tommy, Reiss, Sonia, Penny. Poor Chelsea, and poor Kat, she should have told Alfie.

Gosh, Penny was horrible today !
I bet she lords it over Chelsea now after encouraging her to drink the wine ( or whatever it was they opened)
Agree that people were nasty today especially Tommy.

As well as Sonia not signing in and touching the pillow, there was also the conversation she had with Martin on the market.

Oh yes. Martin did look shocked today too

Yes the conversation with Martin must have happened to 'build a case' against Sonia, but I can't see they would be able to prove it was not a natural death. But lack of evidence never stopped EastEnders.

It would not reflect well on the care home if they did not even pop in and check Sleeping Beauty was still breathing between Sonia and Reiss's visits 😬

I think it's possible now for pathologists to detect suffocation. Something about fibres in the airway.

They'd need a reason to be looking for it though. Reiss must be convinced it will be seen as a natural death, his idea is Sleeping Beauty disappears and he and Sonia now live happily ever after, not that he is arrested for murder. (Yes I know Reiss is a total idiot!)

If Sonia is arrested it's fine with me though 😆

Sonia wasn’t arrested but there’s still hope! Yes, Sleeping Beauty was murdered by Reiss. I feel a bit cheated because I’d have liked Debbie to have woken up.

Poor Debs !

Yeh just watched. Typical annoying plot!
But I guess sleeping beauty was nothing more than an extra.
Hate Reiss now.

Reiss is a psychopath! Who thinks he’s going to blame Sonia for the murder?

Reiss laughing today wound me up more than murdering his wife .. I am hoping that Sonia doesn't go down for it. She isn't one of my favorite characters by a long chalk, but she doesn't deserve to be banged up for that.
Poor Kat too , Tommy is a monster.

I agree, there's dramatic potential there. But like most soap baddies, he'll be found out soon.

A spoiler was finally put out today about next week's episodes and Reiss - Debbie's parents visit him. I guess EE wanted us kept in suspense yesterday about whether he was going to kill her or not, so they've revealed today about Debbie's parents.

Debbies lipgloss print will be on the pillowcase . There will be fibres from the pillowcase in her nose .
Even if SuperSonia says "Well she might've got fibres when they turned her for pressure relief and checking" Debs wouldn't have have been face down.

Sonia was seen, Reiss wasn;t .
Sonia is happy now she is pregnant , it seems she is doomed

And who else wanted to poke that little prick of an Estate Agent in the eye .Rude little upstart !

There’s going to be a post mortem so there is still time to arrest Sonia!😆

So, at that care home you can wander round the entire building and then ‘check in’ (or not) at a randomly unstaffed desk. At the care homes I have visited you wait outside the premises for a staff member to let you in, and sign in before you step over the threshold. They need a safeguarding review😆 I suppose it’s like the Vic not having CCTV - convenient when you want to murder someone.

So Debbie had parents? Reiss never mentioned them did he, I bet they hate him!

I think the point at which Sonia will be in danger from Reiss is when she realises what he has done and rejects him. He loves her in his own psychopathic way so would only harm her if he couldn't have her.

Nice scenes with Alfie and Tommy, it showed Alfie at his best. I liked the social worker, those scenes highlighted what poor choices Kat has made. You can see why Tommy is becoming a horrible thug. I wonder if this will make Kat realise that actually Alfie might be a good choice.

Alfie is good with the twins and so is Mo. I know they can be annoying , but they are safe with them and Mo can dish out some tough love too.
I know Alfie hasn't always been around for any of them , but when he is he tries his best I think and I hope the twins turn out better than Tommy has so far

Just catching up so why is Debbie so radiant looks like she has a 20 step skin care routine that you see on instagram 😂

Why is Penny such a bitch it's like they brought her in forgot she was there and decided they had to give her a personality and story.

Oh Reiss has just killed his wife that is that then 😳

Yes Debbie had such a beautiful complexion... well she did until Wednesday 😳😆

Penny is so cold and selfish, there is nothing to like about her really.

I can't quite put into words why, but the character of Penny acts like a lesbian if you didn't know any better.

What do Lesbians act like ? There is 3 Lesbian characters on Ee all different characters.

Penny was never nice though. She came into it as a drug dealer in Paris , so she has a ruthless streak. Not sure if she is gay or not tbh , but I did feel sorry for Chelsea!
I bet that she plants some drugs around Peggy's and gets Penny into trouble...
Be nice for Chels to have some storylines , even if it's not very nice for her at the moment.

I suppose but I thought she'd be loyal to Chelsea clearly not!
