Kierston Wareing played Max's wife who stormed back into the Square out of the blue ( one of those Who are YOU / Aren't you going to introduce us ? "I'm Max's wife" Doof Doof type introductions )

She was in loads of dramas , the Martine Cole ones particularly .

Max's secret wife stormed into Max and Tanya's just before their Christmas Day wedding ! They were going to get married on the square and she popped up and disrupted it all.

I quite liked the Brannings. I randomly watched an old episode on iPlayer the other day where Carol was sleeping with a young guy (Conor I think) who was also seeing Whitney. Really good scenes with Max. It’s funny that the same storylines go round and round in EE. This episode was almost 20 years ago and Bianca was screeching as per, Whit all heartbroken and Tiffany was a scrap of thing but already very mouthy.

I always fancied Max! ..
Although the whole thing with Stacey / Bradley was awful and he was horrible. No redeeming features ( not like Phil has occasionally)
Agree that the storylines repeat themselves over and over , they sometimes have to have a twist , but mostly it's the same old same old angst isn't it!

The six at Christmas / fast forwards was a bit different, but that couldn't carry on really as it descended into farce.
Although I did see online that Dean might kick off again in the future , so it might all come back to haunt them ( Linda )

Dean leaves soon and I'm predicting the twist is that Linda confesses.

Even a half decent lawyer would be able to get Dean off. There is nothing tying him to the murder, no motive and it’s unbelievable that the police charged him based on the fact the tarp/sheet from his his restaurant was used in the burial and Linda’s eye witness account.

Deans lawyer just sat there saying nothing ! lol
I agree that most would have got him off.

Well that’s what happens when you can’t afford Ritchie. A couple of weeks ago Phil got her to find out info about Billy’s mum so tracing dead relatives is yet another string to her bow. She truly covers every aspect of Law, it must have taken her over a decade to study and qualify.

Ritchie is amazing ! If they can't have her then nobody gets off !

Yes I think Linda might confess.

I saw on Facebook that we are going to see the darker side of Reiss soon !

@Eastie77Returns it wasn't just the tarp sheet and Linda's witness statement, there was also the meat thermometer that Stacey planted in Dean's flat. So there is fairly strong evidence against him.

I don't think Linda will confess, because of Ollie and Annie. She may well fall apart when giving evidence though so I am not sure he'll be found guilty.

Surely we have already seen the darker side of Reiss, he's stealing money left right and centre! I'm just waiting for him to put a pillow over Sleeping Beauty's face. Think of the money it'd save him.

Poor Debs if Reiss tries to kill her :(
(All he needs to do is apply for continuing health care for her. )
Mind you , if it means Reiss leaves in the back of a police car , maybe it might be better all round..
I Hope Linda stays out of prison

Next week Chelsea loses her job ( or is demoted anyway ) by Phil caught drinking at work

Even for EE standards, it would be ludicrous if Dean was convicted of Keanu's murder! The tarp would have DNA from various people - it was found in Ian's skip - likewise with DNA on the thermometer (although would there be anything left on it as it was put inside a roast joint which was cooked in an oven?). A defence barrister would quickly see through Linda's lies that she saw him carrying the tarp into the café, everybody knows she (rightfully) resents him for being acquitted of her rape and denying it ever happened.

I'm glad Chelsea is going to get some screen time.

The police said there was some of Keanu's blood left in the innards of the weapon which I guess is why they used such a weird thing, it would be easier to clean a knife properly. The only prints on it were Dean's - we saw him pick it up, look puzzled and chuck it down. He was also about the flee the country so there was quite a lot stacked against him!

But Linda will surely fall apart under questioning which could lead to him being found not guilty. He'll be found guilty of tampering with Jade's meds though.

What would you get for medication tampering?
( which is completely forgotten about re Dean / Jade )

In the great scheme of Eastenders we can forfeit Debs ( as we haven't really "met" her ) so that Reiss can be taken off to the same prison as Grey and Theo and forgotten about .

Yep, I'm sure that Gray could put some work Reiss's way in jail : a bit like ' Shawshank redemption' , only not as good.

I hope Reiss to goes to jail, as you say he can share a cell with Gray!

I don't know what Dean would get for meds tampering, it isn't really a crime you hear a lot about is it.

I wonder if the twist/surprise will be an appearance from Shirley. They would have some explaining to do if she didn't turn up at the trial!

I'm surprised that Karen let this go as easily as she did tbh ! She felt that Dean was innocent ( of murder at least )

Reiss has told Sonya that he owes £13,500 for care fees for Debbie.

If only they(she) had a property that was worth north of £1m?

Why is he being such a twat trying to rip off Sharon

I think they will move Debbie to the new location and while being moved, she will wake up

Yeah it was ridiculous that from one episode to the next Karen decided to believe Dean was guilty. After all that shouting about wanting justice for my boyyyy.

Calum was also very suspicious but just backed down after Jack ‘had a word’ with him.

So many people know the truth now it’s hard to believe it will stay a secret for long. I can’t keep track of who knows what. Did Sharon ever tell the Six that she told Phil everything? I thought he would try to use that as leverage against Denise to stop her taking Raymond when she moved out.

I can't remember if Sharon told the others about Phil knowing , it was a confusing time then storyline wise and I think she only confessed because he pushed it ( she was acting suspiciously or something?)
I have a feeling she did tell Linda ? But I'm hopeless at remembering things lately and who knew what in the end.
What has become of Johnny too ? Did he leave again ? .. He knew all about it.

I can't remember if the Six know about Phil either.

Johnny is still there, he's just invisible. I guess he will be important when the trial comes up, helping Linda not fall apart. Great how they can leave their previous life without a backward glance!

I'm sure Linda knows that Phil knows .. but I'm usually wrong
