@Mrsjayy I suppose Eddie contacted Jr with details of the funeral? I'm not convinced he'd have his contact details though.

I thought George had not seen Junior for many years, but can't quite work it out. I'm sure Cindy said Junior visited in Spain (and she left George and Jr to have space alone together) so that would be 10+ years ago. But Jr is behaving like he hasn't seen George since he was a young kid.

The fancy dress was a bit of a mystery, some were couples but others not. I don't know who Cindy was supposed to be. Actually I didn't know who any of them were until they said!

I thought a while ago George went to Dubai or maybe it wasn't but Gina did mention Jr so they know him . It's all a bit over the place .

Agree that the George Junior thing is very annoying and doesn't make sense. I hope that he is gone soon as his a cheater and a liar and being sanctimonious about his dad and Cindy when he isn't any better himself.
Anyway, Elaine is throwing George out now !
He put up most of the money for the Vic by selling the bar in Marbella , so I doubt he'll leave without a fight.
Todays one was all over the shop
One minute Zac was out of it , the next his rushing up the hospital, now Brit knows about Zac / Lauren .. all a bit messy.
Whitney actress was on tv today being interviewed and she sounded quite posh!
I predict a round of celebrity quiz shows going forward like Danielle Heard has done ! Although I hope she carries on acting as she is good

Harriet Thorpe was on this morning the other day she is quite posh too, she seems not that far from Elaine though apparently Patsy from ABFAB was based on her !

I think Shona McCartney will maybe go down the Martine Mcutcheon route hopefully not dissappear though.

I do like Elaine, but I really can't see George giving up the pub very easily however determined she might be.
I wonder who the girls will side with ?
Or will he go back to Cindy ?
Shona has a nice voice so she might do some singing or musical theatre.

Just realized that Zac meant he had sex on the couch in the Vic flat with Nancy !
Was wondering who he was talking about.

The highlight for me was Linda's face when Zak said he'd had sex on her sofa. 🤣

I loved all the costumes. Loved pissed Honey, and Eve as Suki.

So bored with George and Denzil storylines though. I read that Nish is back soon so hopefully things might liven up again.

Did we see Suki dressed as Eve after Eve told us she was dressed as Suki? Or did she just not turn up?

I didn't see Suki I thought she would have made an appearance! I lts not going to go well next week for whit whit she will probably leave with baby Dolly and Britney in a cab crying Zack running beside her ,

I have never much liked Elaine, but I liked her a lot in this episode. She is absolutely right, George is not loyal to her, she is constantly there for him but she has to beg him for information which he grudgingly eeks out to her. He takes her for granted and doesn’t respect her.

Great to see Sharon, she looked amazing and had some good lines, I also loved the costumes which made more sense tonight. Bianca on the gas and air in the hospital was funny.

I don't think we did see Suki as Eve?

Not a bad episode despite yet more Denzil, and Junior and his jutting chin.

I don't think we did, but I'm sure I saw a photo of Suki dressed up on digital spy or suchlike. Wish they could do more fun things like this sometimes.

You'd think by now everyone would look over their shoulder before blabbing out some incriminating 'secret'.

I don't remember Zack and Lauren saying explicitly that they had slept together or spent the night together. I just heard them saying they should agree that they didn't do anything and just bury it/take it to the grave with them.

I suppose it must've been kind of obvious, if a 12 year old has understood and managed to read between the lines?

@Meredusoleil In true Eastenders Plot Device Style, Lauren did say something like "we will forget we ever slept together". For no reason at all because both of them know what they did. Good (bad?) luck that Britney's hearing aid is working well!

There was one of those music on the Vic Jukebox matching the situation moments this week but I cannot remember what the song was and CBA going back to search .

Why was WhitWhit being such a cow to the Midwife ? I know she delivered Peach but Whitney knew that Peach's medical condition was not compatibal with life . The midwife had no part to play in her baby's death .
She would've been perfectly within her rights professionally to get another MW to deliver Dolly

Why didn't Lauren open the skylight in the TacoVan and poke her head out to shout ?

And now we have Britney giving Zak daggers .

I often listen out for the background music too 70s, it can often marry up to whatever the situation is at the time.

I think Peter was supposed to be David Beckham.

Eve dressing up as Suki was fun but otherwise I found that episode a bit boring. Eve is such an interesting and entertaining character, I hope she’s in the show for a while longer.

It's amazing how they find such outfits in a few days notice! I guess it's online as fancy dress shops are rare as hens teeth these days. We used to have a few around and they have all gone over the years plus this lot rarely venture out the square unless it's the hospital or the police station. Going ' up west ' shopping isn't even mentioned much these days

I liked Anna's one the most ; she'd look good in a black sack though

I liked Lauren's outfit , the white top and skort .
I know she;s not a likeable character but she did manage to get through that episode without covering herself in taco sauce or placenta , or get a glass of red thrown at her !
