Well I suppose if Cindy and Ian were still married when she ‘died’ all those years ago then technically that would have invalidated Cindy and George’s subsequent marriage.

Also means Ian was a bigamist when he married Laura, Mel, Jane and Sharon😂

I had never thought of the possibility of Ian still being married to Cindy. I wonder if the writers have 😆

Cindy has been back a year now. Maybe they did get divorced in that time ?

George and Cindy I mean

If Cindy was officially given a new identity through Witness Protection then she must've had a Death Certificate if that's what her new ID needed .
If someone is missing then you need 7 years before you can declare them as dead - so after the 7 years would Ian and Cindy not be divorced by ( non desertion but presumed death . Even though he was told she was dead )

Cindy won't have divorced George in the last year because she lovvvvvees him.

All this unravelling of the Law , lets not forget this is Eastenders where Law is fluid and rules that apply in The Real World aren't valid there

I'm still miffed that those nine missing years of Cindy / rose have never been mentioned or spoken about. Where was she living ?
She only met up with Ian for a few months in France , but we know nothing about her previous time away from Spain.
As for the divorcing / name changing / witness protection stuff , that's all vague too.
Silly story all round

Ah yes except in EastEnders, where you can have a missing person declared dead within months (Mick!)

True , Mick was declared dead within a month or two. Not long after his wallet turned up intact.

Considering that Cindy can't be without a man for long, I'm shocked she lived alone for that unaccountable nine years between George and Ian and I'm surprised that a man hasn't appeared yet as one of her lovers during those years!

Give it time! There will no doubt have been at least one man and possibly kids who will be rolled out when needed for a story line. Women from the square are blessed with never ending fertility (apart from Sonia, bless her) so she could have been producing babies right up until the time she met Ian again.

She never mentions poor dead Steven. Cindy Jr & her baby might as well be dead to her for all the attention she’s given them since she returned. So it’s quite plausible she has more kids she has conveniently forgotten about. Or maybe pregnancy will result from her fling with Junior😂

Gosh, I hope Cindy doesn't become pregnant by Junior !! Surely that ' older lady not sure who the dad is' was done to death with Sharon / Ken / Phil.
Lauren is bound to become pregnant by either Peter / junior / Zac at some stage , but at least she's younger and has a lot of years of fertility left!
We always said on here that Sonia should have given another man a go on the square as the rates of pregnancy are high from Phil / Zac / Alfie etc.

If she had a baby with Junior I think for obvious reasons it would instantly be clear Ian is not the dad when baby arrives😂

Although knowing how devious Cindy is she’d probably still try to pass him/her off as a Beale!

Poor Sonia wishing a BabyAlfie on her ! I bet Alfie will go round thinking he's infertile after his treatment for prostate cancer and end up getting on of the unsuspecting women of the Square pregnant .

She cannot have Phil , she was engaged to his 2nd cousin once removed and Godson (Jamie) and her ex husbands Aunt (Kathy ) was Phils wife .
And there has to be ONE woman in the Square that Phil hasn't slept with !

Maybe Sonia will have a ONS with Martin for old times sake and end up pregnant then have the huge dilemma of who is the Dad.

Martin is a good call re Sonia !..

Gillian Taylforth "You're going back a bit , but , yeah . Why d'you ask?"
Scriptwriters:"well do you remember the storyline where Tanya and Amber both have babies which they're trying to pass off as Conrads but one baby is white and one is mixed heritage"?
GT: "Yes it involved a pre-planned C-Section, a blackmailed Nurse who swapped the babies , a bottle of selftan in the baby lotion and a stupid dog who sat on one of the babies and crushed him to death"
Scriptwriters: "Ahhhh . Ok , I don't even think we can pull that off . Not going to pass the Eastenders Believability Test even though it has a prett low bar .Bum"

I had no idea that Kathy was in 'footballers wives '! Sounds bonkers re the baby storyline!
I admit that I was thinking that Cindy might fall pregnant but not sure who the dad is and just having to wait it out till it's born and the baby having its own ' duf did' moment when it becomes clear it's juniors child. She wouldn't be up front from the start as she won't want to lose Ian and her businesses in case it is Ian's! .. so big dilemma
But I do feel that has been done to death and won't happen. Maybe with Lauren though !

"Footballers Wives" was bonkers on so. so many levels !

Deffo Lauren and a baby .
She's getting back with Peter he's moving in with her to give their family more stability.
She's got a job in the CarLot ( literally two minutes walk and as she says , she knows about car sales as Max owned it before )
She's staying on the wagon ( accepted a lemonade from Junior and only drank half of it , as per all Eastenders leaving food/drinks)
Louis will get the help he needs , her life will become more ordered .
Maybe Cindy might like her (a bit)

Her life is going too smooth . A sordid ONS with Junior and getting back with Peter ...we'll have a who's the Daddy in time for the Feb Anniversary .

Footballers wives was insane ! Remember when Tanya from FW went into EE as Max's wife or maybe girlfriend. Anyway she was just the same character 😀

I liked Tanya and Abby , the Brannings were not that bad and she had the nail bar / salon which seemed to do well and was a place for them to meet up that wasn't a pub or the cafe.
Denise's hair salon was the same once, but everyone has forgotten about that and kim hasn't gone back to work there either !

Coronation Streets Nick Tilsley ( or Platt -I don't know if he took the surname ) and Paul Foreman are ex FW stars .

I think FW Tanya was a girlfriend , her daughter was getting married

Vanessa (the Mum) swanned about the square in white trouser suits ( and stayed pristine ) and her daughter was completely irritating so I blocked her

Oh I don't remember the daughter. I called her Tanya because that was her FW name I couldn't remember her eastenders name because all I could think "Tanya" didn't Vanessa get the rage and trash Max's house.

Just googled the daughter I remember her now but I still can't remember Vanessa being her mum !
