Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

There is definitely a surfeit of creepy men on the Street at the moment.

I had been wondering why Joel was with DeeDee, I thought he would want to keep his distance. But you're right that it keeps him ahead of the game if he knows where DeeDee is at.

I prefer the half-hour episodes. They have too much screen time to fill with the hour long episodes, maybe the quality would be better if they cut it back.

I didn't know Sarah had a car. I remember her having to borrow Audrey's car around the time that Stephen was killing people left right and centre.

Apparently now...they ALL have cars....but still get the tram/meet people coming off the tram /see people getting the tram notice people t the tram station/clandestine suspicious movements around getting a tram ....or get a cab ! 🤣

I suspect we'll either find out on Friday tryingsomethingnew, or we'll be left with a cliffhanger which will be resolved on Monday

I thought tonight might end with Joel getting in the Hope and Ruby car. I'm not sure the episode actually told us anything though did it? I definitely get the feeling that Joel is being set up for a reveal, his featuring was odd tonight if there wasn't more to it.

I'm sure we're supposed to find out the truth tomorrow though. I still reckon it'll be that we find out but the characters don't, i.e. if Lauren is dead there won't be a body found or if she's alive she won't be released from where she's being held.

I nearly watched yesterday's episode again today, what with all the dropped mug/wet book/car wash flashbacks. I had to wait for Carla to wave Swain's warrant card thingy about before I was certain I'd already seen it.

To be fair to Corrie ...it is some clever filming/producing/editing ....and dare I say it acting going on in the groundhog day scene of the car wash that we keep seeing .

Everyone was acting their parts at the same time with a different camera crew with them plus an all over / all around camera crew .

If just one person made a mistake ....everyone would have to do their scene over again .....well the whole thing would have to be done over again 🤔.

I think I know what I am trying to say 🤣 !
