Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up. Smile

Honestly I refuse to believe Lauren is dead. I'm assuming what's happened is that Joel and Nathan are in it together (possibly brothers) and that we will find out on Thursday what's happened. The characters won't though, so we'll see more than they will.

They're definitely publicising this week as being different so I'm guessing this is how it will be for the five episodes (or at least until Thursday). I thought we were supposed to get flashbacks at some point, wonder when that will kick in.

I thought it was Bethany's hair band but I'd forgotten about Max "finding" Lauren's hair dye etc. I couldn't work out why Sarah wanted Bethany's hair to be found in Nathan's van 😝

Narhan wasn’t in a cell at the end. It was Roy’s cell - the one we saw coffee being spilled in and his book in a coffee puddle on the floor. As though to make us think something was happening to Roy.

Yes and Sarah mentioned that a policeman was part of the grooming gang.
Was it him?
I can't remember if we know who the policeman was??
I wonder if he's hauled Nathan in to throw everyone of the scent.
Nathan was hideously creepy,like a rat with those teeth 🤮

I think Kit took the 'evidence' Sarah was going to plant... and planted it himself.

That was part of the stuff David found in Maxs room, stuff Lauren left there some time ago (apparently... why she would be dying her hair at Maxs house I don't know...)...

Somethings happened to Roy but we know Griff has been sent to the same nick (I doubt that would ever happen in real life given Roy is only on remand!), so the implication is, it's Griff that's trashed Roys cell or actually done something to Roy.

I reckon they're going to focus on one person each episode too, and I noticed the filming style was different. Mmm!

Oh I hadn't thought of it - maybe he did. I hope he was wearing gloves, because criminal mastermind Sarah certainly wasn't!

I think Kit is going to be the one who solves it. The reason he's lurking about is so that the likes of Bethany can give him all the clues to have it wrapped up by Friday. He'll be the type of cop who does dodgy things to get the right result, he'll fit right in on the Street!

I don't mind the filming style, I agree they are going to focus on one person each day. We still have to get through 'is Roy fighting for his life or did Griff just smash his mug'.

Yeah I quite like the filming style as well. The Hope and Ruby with the necklace seed has been planted but we don't know whose car that was found in yet (do we?).

I thought they might tie it all in with Leanne and Rowan and the cult but the previews on the Sky planner say Leanne returns on Monday just before Simon leaves so guessing no connection there.

My money is still on Joel and Nathan being in it together. And Lauren being alive and held captive.
