Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

Maybe Hope is holding Ruby captive.

Could you fill me in on the necklace, I missed a few episodes?

Oh I just thought re Joel - last night Bethany said that there was a policeman involved in the original gang, so it wouldn't be too surprising if there was now a solicitor involved would it.

Roy remembered the necklace being a present from the secret boyfriend of Lauren's and sketched it in prison but they couldn't find a trace of it I don't think. Then Hope and Ruby found it in a car they were cleaning last night. I think Roy and DeeDee thought if they could trace the necklace they could trace who bought it.

Oh and Nathan being arrested last night was because Kit apparently searched the van and found dodgy stuff on a USB so not what Sarah planted but no idea if Kit planted the USB.

Thanks for the info re the necklace. We don't know whose cars they were cleaning do we?

I didn't hear that re the USB. All a bit bizarre, but if it moves this dreadful story along to conclusion I am all for it.

I've quite liked the storyline in the broader sense but I'll be glad when it's revealed. The soap lady on ITV did seem to allude to it continuing for a bit as she mentioned Roy had a beard when she spoke to him so may stay in prison looking rough for a while but I took it to mean we would probably find out before the characters did, not that we would be in the dark about the details (if that makes sense!).

I don't remember anything about the necklace or evidence in the van from last night's episode. I thought they were jumping the gun a bit over Nathan's arrest in Roy's Rolls. He could have been arrested for anything. And I thought Roy was a bit beardy last time we saw him playing chess with that new prisoner.

I thought Carla was jumping the gun saying that Roy may be getting out of prison just because they'd heard Nathan had been arrested, it could have been for something else completely!

I don't remember the necklace bit from last night or anything about a USB.

I hope Kit is a nice policeman. I am fed up with all newcomers being horrible.
Kens car was at the car wash because Daniel was picking it up. I didn't know Ken had a car or that Daniel could drive. There always used to be amusing learning to drive stories. Now people just suddenly have a car.
I assume Hope was washing cars not doing full valet service. So why would she find a necklace? Which I also dont recall.

I watched last nights and have no recollection of the necklace thing. Perhaps I wasn't paying attention.

I think the necklace bit was shown in a trailer after the episode finished .

They did mention about doing valeting because Sarah took her car before they had finished it and someone said we haven't done the valet yet .

Sarah said she didn't mind and paid them anyway ....without using her wipers to clear her screen !!

So it's groundhog day, each episode going back to the beginning of the same day filmed from a different perspective.

No the necklace bit was in the episode a couple of times. It wasn't heavily featured though as I'm guessing that's going to be the focus in a different episode this week. The USB thing my sister told me and I'd assumed I'd missed that bit as well but maybe that was from the preview.

@TidyDancer Did they actaually say 'necklace' though or was it hinted at?

My hearing's not great and the subtitles are iffy at the best of times.

They showed Hope holding the necklace. It wasn't the focus of the scene though so I don't blame you for not catching it! I can't remember what the dialogue was. Her and Ruby were very much background noise last night, in that it was being set up to feature this week but not being the focus on Monday.

I treated them as such and pretty much glazed over during those scenes, will pay more attention tonight. I was glad to see Ruby getting some screen time though, I hope that continues.

It has gone very arty with its filming style and one person groundhogs.

I have just re-watched it !
Because I am sad and bored, with a sore leg that I need to rest !

Ruby and Hope had 2 small scenes I the background that meant nothing t the time.

While Deedee was talking on the phone we heard Ruby say to Hope ...no you can't do that..

Then in the cafe behind Sarah and Bethany ...you her Ruby tell Hope to put/give it back or she would tell dad ....

So just basic sister squabbles.

The other thing (don't want to mention it ) .was not mentioned at all.
