Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

I don't really like Shona much tbh

I don't like Dev much and agree that he wouldn't look twice at Bernie, I am not saying he deserves better but he is the type that thinks he does. Seeing them together while she is upset works though, better than when they have dramatic scenes, mostly because of his overacting.
Shona came into it when she robbed David's wallet, I don't recall her connection to Nathan, off to Google.

I was about to say then WTF are Tom and Charles. 🤣

I think Dev or rather the Actor who plays him would be more suited to the theater than the TV. I’ve noticed he seems to sing when he talks.

I think he's been in it too long and would be good in a musical as yes he does sing

Remember when Lynne Pierre (who played Ivy Tilsley) was sacked because she had lip fillers without consulting the bosses? If they took that attitude now, there wouldn't be too many characters left!

I once stayed in the same hotel as Dev and his breakfast companion was more glam than Bernie - more Demi or Aadi’s ex.

Wasn’t that a thing though, that Dev and Bernie are an unlikely couple. I think they hated each other at first then inexplicably fell in love:

Has Bethany got lip fillers? Her lips are looking strange and puffy.

I noticed this, and posted 2 comparison pics about a week ago, (8 May, page 14 of the thread,) but no-one responded, so I didn't know if anyone else had noticed. Her mouth/lips do look a bit odd now, and yes she HAS had lip fillers. I have attached the 2 pics again. Pic 1 is 'before,' (when she was in it 6-7ish years ago,) and pic 2 is 'after' (how she looks now.)

I don't think they will be rushing to sack Bethany though (like they did Ivy/Lynne Perrie) as she still looks OK. But yeah the lips are noticeably different, and she has had fillers. She doesn't seem to be able to smile properly. (Not that she does smile much!)

Me too! I don't like Shona either! I just don't see the point of her - and yep, I have never really taken to her. Wouldn't be sorry if she left truth be told.

I thikn Bethany has had cheek fillers along with lip ones.

Shona is there to just say inappropriate things ...but it is ok ..just blame it on her head injury.

Sometimes it just doesn't feel right.

The second pic of Bethany is a really odd one, it looks photoshopped? - I don't remember her actually looking like that in Wednesday's episode, but then again I do glaze over a bit during Bethany's scenes! Will pay more attention tonight.

I thought the Shona head injury storyline was awful, I liked her before that. Although she has never looked quite right with David, it's a shame they killed off Kylie.

I agree that Bernie and Dev are supposed to be 'the odd couple' but I still don't buy it!

I think it might have worn off recently, she's looking more natural than when she first had it done -after she left the first time.

It doesn't seem to have harmed Michelle Keegans career,although that aussie drama from the 1940s was strange with HD brows and lips

The Steve McDonald thing is totally ridiculous. Just silly and boring. And the Nathan thing. Awful. Now Sarah visiting him in hospital.

Bethany has such a shrill voice. I really don’t like her, seems so spoilt and entitled. And shrieky.

Why is Bethany all upset about Nathan getting beaten up? Don't tell me she's in love with him or something. 😳

She also had boy and girl twins Charlie and Lexi who were adopted and moved to Australia with their new mum and dad.

Abi mentioned her other kid - she said she had to go and pick up Alfie (presumably from child minder).

Sarah is phenomenally stupid, but never mind, she’s pretty (I suppose that’s what we’re supposed to think?)

I do like David, the Platts together are always good value. But where is Gail? I wonder if Helen Worth is unwell, she is so rarely on screen. Gail was such a good character.

At least we’ve still got Sally. I think Demi wants to avoid being on SM. Normally you’d think she has an ex she wants to avoid but this is Corrie so she probably has an Ridiculous Secret.

To me, Bethany looks the same as she previously did allowing for the fact she’s several years older. The photo in the Mirror looks nothing like her. Michelle Keegan on the other hand seems to have had all the work, her face barely functions.
