Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

David was doing his washing. That was a useful thing to do .

Perhaps...maybe he was just hoping to get the dye out. Though he should use a colour catcher sheet if he is mixing lights and darks and stain.

ALSO, I'm quite liking Steve's new blonde lass (Demi.) Shame Steve may have blown it banging on and ON about Tommy Orpington! Hope they can make a go of it.

I agree about the fake looking background in the garage. We aren't supposed to notice things like that. We're only the viewers. 😟

I like Demi too, but she seems an odd pairing with Steve. I think Tracy will return, I don't mind her but I hope she doesn't end up back with Steve. He needs a new Karen or Becky.

I didn't notice the weirdness of the Kevin scenes - well obviously the storylining was weird but I didn't notice the background!

Absolutely! I like Dev, I like Bernie, but they are not a couple.
If you look at the type of girlfriends Dev had back in the day, he would never be with Bernie, he'd be with Demi!

Yeah, she is getting on my nerves now. The coy, shy look, the wispy little voice, and the 'butter wouldn't melt in her mouth' look she always has... when she is just a man-mad bint who never seems to be at work!

What does she even do? I am sure she used to run the factory, and now all she does is shag the bad guys, walk around with a coy Princess Di look on her face, and act like her shit don't stink. 😆

Dev and Bernie. For some reason I can't explain I like them together. There seems to be a warmth there that is lacking with other street couples.

Bernie is probably the only female character who isn't fillered and botoxed to bits and the actress is great for allowing that tired and disheveled look. The other females are always seen as though they've just stepped out of the beauty salon with perfect hair.

They do drink a lot of wine don't they?! I have not had a drink since New Year's Eve. (Not saying I will never drink again but have gone nearly 5 months,) and so I may be judging as I am not drinking booze at the moment. But Sarah seems to drink LOADS of wine. HUGE glasses! 🍷

I think it isn't memorable because we had no idea who 'Nathan' was, she just arrived having left a bad relationship. It took a while for David to find out she was Clayton's mother but I think the viewers knew long before? Gemma must have known Shona via Clayton as they were all part of the Dog & Gun crew (remember that awful pub?) but it's all lost in the mists of time.
