Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

Abi had Seb, the twins and the one with Kev didn't she? I forget names too.

She had a one night stand with the solicitor boyfriend of Toyah and had that baby. I don’t think she has one with Kev, does she? Nobody has children with the person they’re actually with.

I think Bethany wants Nathan to be found guilty not be battered.

That second pic of Bethany I posted on the previous page is a little filtered I think, but that is what her lips and cheeks look like if you look at her in the show. As a few posters have said, it's so sad because she is so pretty. Why spoilt that lovely face with fillers?

Also, why oh WHY is Sally such a bloody ridiculous SNOB? She sounds ridiculous. 'Ooooh I live in a swanky semi detached house on the opposite side of the street to the skanky terraced ones. I am so POSH!'

I think the Bethany actress is doing the Instagram trend makeup of heavy foundation and loads of contour and highlighter and overdrawn lips. The type of makeup that involves lots of brown lines drawn around the face. When she was previously in it she had beautiful glowy skin, but now it looks like she's caked in tons of stuff.

Sally has allllllllways been a stinking outrageous snob though, with delusions of grandeur and aspirations to Hale Barns or be still my beating heart Alderly Edge...

At least they've not forgotten that entirely, we've just not seen her in full Snob Mode, dialled up to 11 for quite a while. She managed to get in the sex pond, the conservatory and the summer house (how, the garden on that property is a bloody postage stamp!) and the fact it was a semi, Demi... Good going!

She wasn't a snob originally. She used to be down to earth and friends with Gail (before Gail became dim). I think the snobbiness started after she became obsessed with making Rosie a star.

Sally's snobbery started when she swapped houses with the Peacocks when they fell on hard times( Claire and Ashley) and she was toe curlingly awful!

She felt she had truly arrived and at last she had what she deserved although she still dreamed of Hale Barrrrns

I'm watching Classic which is currently in 2004 and Sally started being a snob in the past year - she decided Rosie was Special, first of all wanted her to go to drama school and then as a maths genius to Orrrrkhill. So at least it’s in character!

I honestly can’t see what the rest of you are seeing with Bethany, I think she looks absolutely fine on screen. But supremely annoying obviously!

So now Gary has to explain a £10k hole in his finances to Maria, for no real reason as I am not sure Nathan knew who dunnit anyway.

Shona hasn't had a real storyline in years (happy to be corrected if wrong) so she seems just an extra with a few lines here and there.

They tend to forget that going to prison is temporary. At least Nathan is back and Corey has resurfaced. Although i had to google Corey. I was confusing him with assorted other baddies.

I quite.like Shona. She has some funny one liners. But she is so rarely in it.

Was Corey found guilty or did he get off ?

I can't remember the outcome !
