Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

I think he probably is as well. Is he meant to be older?

The lack of presence of Joseph, Chesney or quads in that small house is annoying

I watched tonight for the Bernie storyline. Zodiac!

So he is posh/rich (ish) - presumably a drug dealer as no one in Corrie apart from Mike Baldwin has ever made £££ legally. As soon as Bernie said the words Jade Elephant I knew we were going to see that elephant. He will obviously somehow track her down and turn up in the Rovers. He is still blissfully ignorant of the fact he has Gemma as a sister.

As for the Roy storyline, I just can’t. I suppose at least it gives us plenty of Dee Dee, although far too much Bethany. The fact they are both so involved surely means that both Nathan and Joel are too?

The cult storyline is creaking round in circles with everyone saying the same thing they said a month ago. I suppose it is eventually heading towards Leanne trying to sell t’Bistro to throw cash at the Institute. I thought Nick was going to have an affair with Toyah but that all seems to have taken a step back.

I think Bethany should go back to London. Im fed up with her. Where is Bertie.

A 'snakebite' was banned in the pubs in my Midlands town in the early 1990s. Batshit really, as it's only cider and lager mixed! 😆

It's ridiculous really isn't it? I am sure the house is a 2 bed house, but even if it's a 3, where on earth do they fit 3 adults, and 5 children?! Jorzif is around 10 years older than the quads, and would no way be sharing with them.

Who on earth thought of the idea to bring quads into this family? One of the most stupid ideas ever.

My terraced house is bigger than theirs downstairs and only has 2 bedrooms. I can't see any way they could have 3 up there. Plus a bathroom.

I know I've said it before but Bernie is brilliant in this, always has been I think, and I'm starting to think she's actually making Dev look much better as an actor too, he's changed a lot since him and Bernie got together, and he's not as hammy as he used to be ( I could be completely wrong of course 😊and it's just me that sees it)

I hope her son is not a bad person, that wouldn't be fair to her.

I'm also now thinking that Joel might be involved with Laurens disappearance.

I just hope Zodiac is not part of the grooming gang. They were all 'professional' men, not short of a Bob or two. Perhaps he's got Lauren and Bernie will discover her.

I think the snakebite was for Bernie and that is exactly what Bernie would drink 😀

Yes I thought that too. Although neither of them looks like Bernie and they have a different dad.

I wondered about Gemma tracking him down but didn't Bernie say he went to Australia/Africa to put her off the track? But yes I can see that coming, Gemma turning up at his door in one of her special outfits.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Gemma tracks him down & realizes he’s an ex boyfriend or something.

Of course you would leave someone alone in a solicitors office with access to files etc.

Plus how could Nick and Leanne just float off to a party during work hours !

Yes surely you risk being sued by your clients if you leave their files lying around available for unsupervised randoms to leaf through. Adam is an absolutely terrible solicitor though so no surprises there!
