Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

I'm amazed Nathan is allowed Internet access. I know someone who works with sex offenders after they've been released from prison. Many of them aren't allowed anything that can connect to the Internet at all.

Even if he were allowed to go online the fact he's access Ovids should be a red flag surely.

So, suspected sex work Lauren has gone missing and newly released sex offender (who like young blond girls) is back in the area. But DI Swain sees nothing to link this? Blimey, she needs our Craigy to help her detect.

And Leanne is now spending £200 a month on vitamin supplements from the joint account as well as her own monthly payment to The Institute. How much is Rowan raking in??

In Corrie land that's a sure sign of a pending relationship. I wouldn't have put them together at all but sure why not, though I don't fancy extra Michael scenes.
I also still think it's Joel that is involved in Lauren's disappearance, but I don't think he killed her, I think he has her tucked away in a sex dungeon or something.

I think Nathan is a red herring too, a big stinky one.

But where are corrie writers getting their police/legal advice from, the back of a cereal packet?

Bethany would have been informed, as would her family, of Nathans release, nor would he have been released to return to the area.

His internet activity would be monitored and Weatherfield police would already know he was following Laurens Ovidz account! So he'd already be on their radar.

Or, wildcard option, its George and he's got Lauren locked up in his house he seems to have forgotten he owns - because Eileen can't have anything nice and her relationship with George has been nice for far too long now.

Just after watching Nathan's emergence back in Corrie last night I switched over to the Victoria Wood documentary and there he was! The actor of course. I thought it quite a coincidence. He's a very versatile actor.

I watched that too and still hadn't made the connection, he's very good!
