Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

I hope Mercury is Paul actor as pp suggested and he's a fire spitting hellraiser!

Maybe she had a child born with a disability due to her drug use so gave him/ her up for adoption?
Now she’s caring for Paul the guilt is getting to her?

Yes perhaps the Paul actor could come back with a villain moustache and a posh accent, and shag every female on the street. Billy prayer hands would be distraught at the likeness and would have to go away, far far away.

To be fair to Billy annoying as he is he is certainly devoted to Paul.

I’ve been wondering what the third triplet would be called. Mercury seems a good choice but what would his normal name be? Mark maybe? Definitely a boy because the little bootee she had was blue.

He will be in bed with Todd and 🙏 for forgiveness before Paul is cold 🙄

I am getting the feeling that Gary and Sarah may re-ignite their relationship soon. Only a matter of time before Gary gets bored with the drama with Liam. I know Liam can't help it, but he is becoming quite hard to look after/care for, and Gary will be getting a bit sick of now. Gary is already lying to Maria, and not admitting he was with Sarah. After this latest thing that has happened to Liam, Maria will want to be handcuffed to him now! This is going to start having an affect on Maria and Gary now.

Yes Maria is going to end up a nervous wreck after all this. The Glenda money storyline is so rubbish, George said she could just about buy the franchise if she didn't owe a lot of money in tax. The franchise must be many thousands of pounds, iirc she paid 5k to use the name, and there are several branches, so it's worth what maybe 50k minimum? And she is supposed to owe an equivalent amount in tax? Rubbish!

Where is Kevin and where is Jack his child. Did Gary remember his son by Phelans daughter tonight? Where is Harry when Sarah is drinking lovely wines and Adam is smouldering at alya?
Why isn't Swain looking for all the missing offspring on the street?

When you read this thread you realise it is absolute rubbish!

I don't think Bernie will have had triplets, I think it's a baby she had before Paul and Gemma, maybe taken into or care or passed away, I've said before on other threads that I always thought Bernie was great, she is a great addition to the cast, yes she's done some daft things but I like her character 😊

Likewise Glenda, she needs better storylines though, although I'm still confused over the will stuff, George said tonight that he couldn't understand why his Dad didn't want Glenda to have half the business, but I thought the will said it was left to both of them, but yet it's only ever been George that runs it (can't make head nor tale of it🤷)

Maria will handcuff herself to Liam now leaving the way for Gary and (can't be without a man) Sarah to get together.

The will that Todd found wasn't a signed official will, it was one written out but not witnessed etc etc. So it shows that at some point, George and Glendas dad did want to do that, but then for some reason, didn't. The offical will presumably lodged with solicitors, gave the business soley to George.

George has no way of knowing if it's because Dad just ran out of time, died before he could sort it out and make it official, or if he changed his mind and the will that is official is what he truly wanted.

Maybe Glenda did something horrendous and had to be removed from inheritance.

We don't know which way round the wills were written. So don't know Archie Shuttleworth's final wishes - didn't he leave Audrey some money?

Totally agree about Bernie actress, she's fab. I too think she may have had a child(ren) prior to Gemma/Paul who were taken away/adopted due to her lifestyle. She holds a sadness about her.

Had to laugh when Asha turned up as the paramedic for Paul, was expecting her when Liam collapsed. Will she be the permanent hospital/ambulance liaison now that Aggie (previously Liz on health centre and Martin in Wethy general) has left? Rather like our Craigy, she will turn up on blue lights whenever needed!

The most valuable asset of the business is likely to be the reputation it has built up, in this case that means George. So makes sense he was left it

He should just burn the other will and if he feels guilty just help his sister out with her business, looking after the finances while she turns Weatherfield's little smashers into the stars of tomorrow.

Why doesn't George sell his lovely house and split the dosh with Glenda, he is never there anyway.
