Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

I'm starting to wonder now as well if Joel has something to do with it all, now you've all mentioned the necklace in Roy's flashback and the jewellers receipt Dee Dee found

I hope Paul gets the help he needs and someone finds him

I have to say I used to think Adam Barlow was quite 'dishy,' but he looks quite grubby now. He's always got scruffy hair, he always looks like he needs a shower, and always he seems annoyed or bored or irritated.

Whow... Dev and Bernie scene. Much better acting than lately.

Good theory about the legal team or brothers.
Have watched a couple of videos and it's the dead eyes that are similar, nothing there at all brrrr!

I must have zoned out, but why is Alya no longer going to Dublin?

She thinks that Rich(?) won't send her now, because he walked in on her and Adam in a clinch 🙄

But Adam has been to see Rich to argue the case for her, so it's likely that she will go after all.

Was that portion of pasta that Maria and Liam were eating a normal portion? Because if it was then we must be really greedy in my house! They can't have had more than 10 bits each, and neither of them finished it!

No, I don’t think your skills are off kilter because I thought that too with the conversation with Dec then I thought “when did he have other children apart from Asha and Aadi” if he does, I don’t remember that

Dev’s got a another Daughter Amber. She was in Corrie for a time. I don’t remember any of his other kids though.

I couldn't remember Dev having other children, so I actually googled! Then I did remember Amber, but not a clue about the other THREE!

I wonder if the current writers are aware of the "two other children". If they are, I'm sure they'll put in an appearance sooner or later.

When Bernie was looking at the old papers from her tin, I thought I saw the name Christopher Green, who's that?

Amber was great. Really stroppy.

Yes, I liked Amber. It's surprising that no other long lost kids have popped up since Dev's been in the show.

I do not remember Amber or his other children

I missed a few episodes so don’t know why Alya is going to Dublin. What’s her qualification - legal secretary? She’d be lucky to be able to afford to rent a box room in a shared hovel house in Dublin. Not to mention being able to afford the “gorgeous handbags in Brown Thomas“ that DeeDee mentioned!

I lost track of the reason Alya is going to Dublin. I wish she would hurry up, the carefully posed handbags, plants etc to cover her pregnancy are very distracting. We now play spot Alya's bump in our house!

They are all acting as though Alya is a legal genius. I’m sure she’s a great legal secretary but no wonder her ego has swelled to the size of her bump recently.

I remember Amber and vaguely remember he had other children, not sure if they were in it or just mentioned. Never talked about now though.

My guess is that Bernie has other children who were taken into care and adopted, and she's never told Paul and Gemma, or Dev. Thats why she said 'I love all my kids'.. if you've only two, you'd naturally say 'I love both my kids'...

I really thought Dev would pick up on that but she fairly easily led him off into a sad ramble.

I agree with the idea that Bernie has me children. Maybe even that Paul, Gemma and unknown child were triplets and she didn't feel she could cope with all 3.

My guess is that Bernie used to have sex for money.
I'm probably wrong though.
