@Kate3150 that ‘baby cheeses’ makes me laugh just remembering it. It was based in Melbourne and Tori is from Melbourne so it’s likely the accents are similar.

It’s when she does her aggressive hands that gets me. Those long fingers with the nails closing like pincers, waving in front of her face. Physically trying to shut down any sort of criticism. Deluded.

I did feel sorry for Eden but tbh if you can’t take it (being in the hot seat) yourself then you shouldn’t dish it out so much to others 🤷🏼‍♀️

I know lots of people (inc me) criticise contestants who don't put much effort into MAFS - but if I had been paired with either Jack or Jayden, I'd have turned and walked back down the aisle - they both give me the total ick. And I cannot overstate how much I despise Jayden's behaviour throughout this series.

Pairing Lucinda with Tim nearly 10 years older and Andi with Richard again at ten years older just seems sexist stereotypes to me.

Rummikub I agree, Lucinda is closer in age to Jonno than she is to Timothy.

I don't think age was an issue with Richard and Andi. Him being a massive arse was the issue.

Yes Richard was a gaslighting tool. But it still doesn’t sit right. They just seemed at different stages.

I think Andi and Tim might have had a better shot, as much as Lucinda is a solid gold queen.

As she is a less outgoing character, he would have either had to actually try to meet her in the middle or the whole thing would have been a wet fart by week 2. None of this lopsided effort and flogging a dead horse. He would have had the need to exercise some of this supposed nurturing side.

Not sure what type of man I'd put Lucinda with. I don't think a hippy dude. So often they are hiding a decidedly non peace-and-love temperament (Richard). Perhaps earthy but in a not super spiritual way, a farmer like Mick (and Jessica) or the one paired with that nice mining lady Susan a while ago, or a vintner. Logistics might be an issue but I could see her being ok with not living in someone's pockets.

I know that it is a fact guys do often want a woman younger than them, when they get to 40 etc. But I am sure they could have found a great man who was closer to Lucinda in age.

Yes totally agree they could’ve matched Lucinda better both in terms of age and outlook.

(Pretty much all my relationships have been that 3/4 year gap with me being oldest.)

As much as I adore Lucinda, she wouldn't bring out the best in me if we were in a relationship.
If my husband asked me to celebrate him, even the phrase would give me the heave. That intensity of any relationship is too much for me.

I said before, Tim would be perfect for me. Lazy, likes snacking and watching TV and can't be arsed with sex 😁

Just caught up with this week's episode and the thread and nodding along to most of your posts.

Watching Eden is so hard. She reminds me of when my anxiety was unmedicated and out of control. If she's faking she needs an Oscar. Jayden is making it 10x worse but I feel for him too - he doesn't relate and who can blame him as a young man without anxiety. What he sees as manipulation is Eden desperately trying to control the situation so she can cope. Neither of them is doing anything malicious. It's just very sad.

Into our last full week - Eeeek!!!

Tonight: final commitment ceremony
Tues: final dinner party
Weds: final vows
Thurs: final vows

Then next week - couple of episodes of reunion(s) I think (or maybe only one), not sure but I don't want to Google to check!
