The dialogue is not exactly inspiring, but there are some lovely properties featured. And yes, I'm aware of how middle-aged that makes me sound.

Anna has the emotional depth of a dead trout, she's just so blah as a person I can't believe anyone would be obsessed with her.
As for RA, that man should be banned from every soft furnishings shop in the world.

Have given up. It's awful as has been said. I googled the end and I'm glad I'm not watching it. I might now need to watch RA as SGOG or as suggested Vicar Of Dibley. I cannot not find him hot.

I'm on episode 3. I'm very, very tempted to stop. It's so bad. The sex scenes couldn't be less sexy. It's just cringe inducing.

Watched it in one go. I find RA very, very sexy so enjoyed the explicit scenes 😊however this Anna person irritates me. A Maxine Carr look-a-like indeed. The children (Jay and Sally) were not cast well. It's all very weird.

I binged this yesterday and it’s a long tome since I had a Netflix binge

I did enjoy it for the escapism factor and wasn’t able to turn it off but the wife was so amazing and Jay such a sweetheart that it made me think it was too unbelievable that he would do that. The cushion scene was funny 😆

My middle aged thought was "he'll bugger his knees shagging on a hard wooden floor"
Plus "how minimalist can a flat be that she doesn't possess a bed, and they can only shag up against walls"

*Watched the cushion scene last night- who thought that was a good idea? On some clips programme I once saw a cat shag a fluffy dressing gown to completion and it was very similar.

Netflix will probably think it has been a huge hit and do a second series because loads of people have probably watched it because it's unbelievably bad and quite short

I feel sorry for the wife and son! Only seen half on episode one as I like RA, but the dialogue is terrible and the olive scene when they first meet was just funny
