For the love of cheese - come on and vote mumsnet we cannot let Matt Hancock win I’m a celeb. He will be all over our tv about how the British public have forgiven him and this has been part of his redemption.

He might! He's good at everything, trials, puzzles, getting on with people!

Greenshake · 26/11/2022 21:31

I don’t see an issue with him winning.

I don’t see an issue with him winning.

WHAT?!

FitAt50 · 26/11/2022 21:35

custardbear · 26/11/2022 21:34

WHAT?!

Clearly 100,000s of people feel the same as he is still in.

Greenshake · 26/11/2022 21:36

It’s a reality TV show. No more, no less. If the public want to vote for him, so be it. It’s not reflective of the real world.

rainbowandglitter · 26/11/2022 21:36

Loads want him to win. Everyone in my house votes for him every day.

Spck · 26/11/2022 21:38

I despair

I despair

Who do you hope wins?

megletthesecond · 26/11/2022 21:39

My DD won't vote for him. She thinks he's a liar and fake.

sashagabadon · 26/11/2022 21:40

My son wants him to win, or Owen.
I would like to see Jill win.
matt has been good at lots of jungle stuff and seems good company and so I don’t mind him Winning particularly

Spck · 26/11/2022 21:41

How easily the public are swayed - looks like his PR team have been right in advising him to do this.

OP posts:
Greenshake · 26/11/2022 21:41

Or maybe they simply have a different opinion to you!

Spck · 26/11/2022 21:43

It’s not opinion that he is a liar and a cheat. That he is getting £400k when he should be serving his constituents

OP posts:
chikp · 26/11/2022 21:44

It would be good if he wins then thinks he's amazingly popular and then just gets ignored when he's out

Spck · 26/11/2022 21:44

But he’s good at trials so let’s just forget all that. Jeez!

OP posts:
supertato32 · 26/11/2022 21:46

Well there are a lot of fuckwits in this country, so there is definitely a good chance he could win! Apparently we should all feel sorry for him because he was 'bullied' in there! Fucks sake, little Britain's ignorance knows no bounds!

Greenshake · 26/11/2022 21:46

Quite a few of the people in there were of less than impeccable character though

Spck · 26/11/2022 21:47

Not quite on Matts scale though

OP posts:
Whitwhit · 26/11/2022 21:48

I’m with you Op.
I still think he’s an utter bellend and it’d be a travesty if he won over Jill, Owen or Mike who all come across as genuine, nice people.

Greenshake · 26/11/2022 21:49

Well, that depends on your standpoint doesn’t it? If you have lost a family member to a drink driver, you probably won’t be too enamoured of at least 2 of the other camp mates. Hancock’s political career was toast even before he went in.

supertato32 · 26/11/2022 21:49

@Greenshake he's meant to be working as an MP and preparing for the inquest into the debacle that was his handling of covid! Instead he's still getting paid his wage and taking £400k fee to be on this car crash TV show! He is morally inept, and so are the ignorant people that are voting for him and think he's done nothing wrong. Vile man, who has no respect for anyone.

Changechangychange · 26/11/2022 21:50

Spck · 26/11/2022 21:47

Not quite on Matts scale though

Boy George? Literally chained somebody to a radiator and beat them up because he was so off his face he thought they might have stolen his laptop? (they hadn’t)

supertato32 · 26/11/2022 21:51

@Changechangychange yep, that is horrendous and so is Matt Hancock 'looking for forgiveness' for his disgusting handling of pandemic that cost thousands of people their lives and wasted billions of pounds!

Miss03852 · 26/11/2022 21:52

Hancocks voting record:

FOR the bedroom tax
FOR student tuition fees
FOR a reduction in welfare spending
FOR lower corporation tax
FOR selling the UK's forests
FOR the badger cull
AGAINST funding for domestic abuse victims
AGAINST free meals for schoolchildren
AGAINST measures to prevent climate change
AGAINST higher benefits for the disabled
AGAINST taxing bankers' bonuses
AGAINST higher taxes for banks
AGAINST higher taxes for the wealthy
AGAINST laws to promote equality
AGAINST laws to promote human rights

Greenshake · 26/11/2022 21:52

@supertato32 there are far bigger things to worry about right now than MH in this tv show.
