For the love of cheese - come on and vote mumsnet we cannot let Matt Hancock win I’m a celeb. He will be all over our tv about how the British public have forgiven him and this has been part of his redemption.

OP posts:

It appears Matt should not be responsible for any covid failings, so we might as well just do away with the position of health Secretary! I don't even watch the show, but heard how he also mentioned he was merely a puppet and civil servants used him to get their policy through.

If Matt isn't a sociopath and master manipulator, then Boris also isn't a serial shagger who has been having an affair with a musician under Carrie's nose!

What’s this about Boris?

Iamboredandgoingforatwix · 26/11/2022 23:08

If he wins, it explains why this country is currently in the gutter with a bunch of chancers sucking it dry. We are shit at critical thinking in this country and there are lots of gullible people out there. It wouldn't surprise me.

Matt will have a plush cabinet position soon because it is mission accomplished and that is his reward for being a good actor.

FirstnameSuesecondnamePerb · 26/11/2022 23:08

The whole shebang says more about the British public than Matt Hancock.
I've always loved the jungle. Even that is fucking ruined now.

supertato32 · 26/11/2022 23:09

@FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge it's common knowledge amongst the Westminister crew that he's been having it away with violist (I think she might be Russian)! Not sure if it's still going on but it was during Covid!

It's common knowledge that the Westminster crew talk shit. So who knows.

@Greenshake nastiness? Or just having our opinion too! It's called healthy debate.

People being called “fuckwits” and “thick as fuck” is not healthy debate.

supertato32 · 26/11/2022 23:14

@Greenshake but if the shoe fits 😉 (joke)!

Er….ok

supertato32 · 26/11/2022 23:15

@MarshaMelrose he also took out a super injunction to stop it being publicised.

Such a nice man. Deserves to win

(Irony alert)

MarshaMelrose · 26/11/2022 23:16

Prove it.

Completely agree. We're fucked. Thank god I'm moving abroad next year to live and work.

Anyone wondering why brexit happened just needs to read this thread. The hard of thinking are alive and well and unfortunately have rhe right to vote. No wonder the tories are laughing at us all, they know their audience is thick as shit.

twelly · 26/11/2022 23:20

I think the points made regarding the nature of the discussion say more about the problems the country is in than the whether MH should be into jungle or win. Debate is discussision and putting forward different points of view not hurling insults - everyone is entitled to their view.

NeedAHoliday2021 · 26/11/2022 23:20

The older I get the more I question whether democracy is the right way forward. The public make the most bizarre decisions.

Nanalisa60 · 26/11/2022 23:20

Well you could have knocked me over with a feather, lovely Magic Mike was voted off before Matt , the worlds gone mad.

zen1 · 26/11/2022 23:21

I really hope he doesn’t win. I can’t believe how easily people seem to have forgotten the debacle that was his time in office and that he’s still supposed to be a serving MP. Absolute joke. I’d like to see Jill win (though I like Owen as well).

ancientgran · 26/11/2022 23:21

One thing I've noticed is how rude a lot of the people who don't want MH to win are. I mean calling people stupid and hard of thinking because they have a different view to you isn't very grown up is it.

OldTinHat · 26/11/2022 23:23

I can't believe Mike is out!

No way can Hancock win. No. Just no. Jill all the the way!!! I'm hoping Hancock is only left in now for humiliation (loved him being battered in the cyclone, I laughed so much!).

We all have to vote for Jill or Owen. I love them both. Not Hancock though. No, no, no.

It reminds me of Trump who before becoming POTUS was verging on a democrat bid.
But then publicly stated he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and republicans would still vote for him

I think we're in the grip of Munchausen syndrome!

supertato32 · 26/11/2022 23:25

@MarshaMelrose well it's hard to prove if he's had a super injunction put in place to stop people covering it! But have a Google and there are musings on it.

supertato32 · 26/11/2022 23:26

@OldTinHat I'm going to vote just so he doesn't win! Haven't even watched the show.

Being taken in by a lying devious bastard isnt very grown up either
