A spin-off from the Torchwood thread where there seem to be lots of people reminiscing about the good ole days of Buffy and Angel and the genius that is Joss Whedon.

I sometimes feel strange confessing to being a Buffy fan in RL at the age of 36 but I love both it and Angel. So if you need somewhere to swap favourite moments, this is the thread!

I'm extremely tempted to order the follow up comics even though I am overdrawn! Should I order from Amazon then is that the best place? Will someone educate me, got into Buffy and Angel on the idiot box and never considered buying the comics.

Have also always been morbidly curious about misskittyfantastico!

Overrated, did you not watch any of the later seasons of Buffy?????

Have just received & read Buffy season 8 - very enjoyable but not quite enough of it! Does answer some of those queries left over from Angel series 5. Thought the chracaterisation was well maintained from the television series, could visualise it very well.

Oh and there was a token 'glimpse' of Spike!

Can't be arsed to watch Torchwood tonight as there's no Spikeyness and not v interested in Tosh

No, I never watched Buffy when it was on TV but started from the beginning last year - I am now at the end of Season 5 so 2 more to go...

I listened to OMWF on cd in the car on the way back from my mum's last weekend (inspired by this thread) not listened to it in ages) and I swear I had goosebumps all the way home.
it is a work of genius.
the most amazing thing is Joss Whedon manages to make the most bizarre things touching and true to life.
the pain of every character is so odd and yet so human and universal
imo

ooh ooh amazon delivery here - have Buffy and Angel is ordered at local comic shop where I made the big mistake when I responded to the question "its a 3rd reprint not the first - does that matter?" with "no, I am a geek but not that much of a geek" - met with cold silence - what was I thinking? joking about such things with a comic shop employee - felt very inappropriate ooops
