A spin-off from the Torchwood thread where there seem to be lots of people reminiscing about the good ole days of Buffy and Angel and the genius that is Joss Whedon.

I sometimes feel strange confessing to being a Buffy fan in RL at the age of 36 but I love both it and Angel. So if you need somewhere to swap favourite moments, this is the thread!

Buffy dying was just awful ( I was watching that episode on my own because dh was on a nightshift, and I actually phoned him up at work and bawled )

Xander and Anyas wedding..and Anya's vows "So I get it now. I finally get love, Xander, i really do..."

(I knew it was all going to go horribly wrong when we saw Anya in her wedding dress before the ceremony. That's my TV theory- if you see the dress before the ceremony, there won't be a wedding. If there is going to be a marriage, you'll only see the dress for the first time when the bride walks down the aisle. But I digress...)

I have only ever watched Hell's Bells once, despite having all the DVDs - I really hate it.
Xander really should have married Anya - what's wrong with a happy ending once in a while?

Oh Faith! I loved Faith. i hated the wet ones... Riley (get some balls, man!), Tara and Dawn ("Get out! Get out! Get OUT!" I can still hear her screaching that as I write it!)

Ooo, I never watched Buffy but last March decided with a friend that we would watch the entire thing from the very beginning. We're at the end of season 5 now so still have a way to go. I never realised how funny it was. I love it!

I even love the 'Grrr Arrgh!" at the end. The one where he gives a little sob (is that where Buffy leaves home?) and the 'We are Gods!". Were there any others?
The arch-nemessissesssss were great, was very sad when Jonathan was killed.

The little monster says 'I need a hug' - I think it's when Buffy's killed, or is it when she kills Angel?
And he's wearing a little mortar-board at the end of graduation.

Yes there was snow in amends - Angel was waiting for the sun to come up to commit suicide & then the freak snowstorm came & saved him....

Oceana, I really wasn't a Dawn fan for a long time although I began to warm to her a bit more in Season 7. I'd love to know more about what happened to Miss Kitty Fantastico with the crossbow - bet it wasn't good
And I loved the bit where Xander explains to her why she is still special despite not being a Potential...

DH and I quote a lot in everyday life - it's our in-joke cos no-one else we know watches it! I'll sometimes ask him 'Tell me the truth - how's my hair?' and he'll always reply 'It's your best hair ever!' Remember that from I Robot You Jane when Buffy gets electrocuted?

I love all things Whedon (sorry to those who didn't like Firefly, but it was good)

I still haven't finished my angel dvd collection because they changed to the new style boxes and it would mess up the set

Oz is my favourite I like short geeky blokes with nail varnish though! The Oz episode of Angel was one of my faves (obv the puppet one too )

Buffy - Musical, Hush (although it REALLY irritated me that she just assumed that she was the "princess" who could release the voices), and pretty much all of Season 2, ooh, and I sob hysterically every single time at the one where Oz leaves after the fight with the girl werewolf.
