Having lived in Jersey for 26 years, I’m loving the way the island is being shown but OMG the women are just cringe!

Thoughts anyone?

oh god his art is awful. but art is subjective isn't it...? i'm sure someone likes it.

Ref: Gallery Magazine it's a nice little glossy monthly with some interesting articles if you dig into it (I've written a few of them myself ) but it's distributed for free and largely found in dentist's waiting rooms, on coffee tables in hotels or to pick up at the door of department stores or nice bars.

I know a few people who've graced the cover but sad to report that it hasn't proved to be a springboard straight to US Vogue for any of them!!

I burst out laughing when she announced her exciting Gallery magazine news. Even I've been in Gallery magazine (in photos); in fact, now I'm miffed that I was never invited to any launch parties.

Margaret being 47 was intended as a joke apparently but she was remarkably straight faced about it. It's been a big topic of conversation on the Facebook group (which I joined to see if any of them were in it, but only Ashley was, and I think she's run away now). I would eat every hat I own if Sascha Hartmann turned out to be 40 though.

@Dailyhandtowelwash I was invited to the 150th issue party. All expenses paid shin-dig at Samphire. I was away on a work trip at the time and I've never quite got over the disappointment of missing it. Apparently it was brilliant!

@OVienna I don't know him I'm afraid. If I did I'd be questioning exactly how intent he is on marrying her if he's let his divorce drag on over 6 years. It's all very well fighting over money and property but surely the only winners after that length of time will be the lawyers?

I find it odd he's happy to appear on the show, you know? I Googled the business, which seems to be substantial and real. I'd not have thought he'd benefit from this sort of publicity, in this sector. It's up Sascha's street, it would seem, though.

Sascha has got to be late 50s, surely?
I'm another one not keen on his art. It's very literal, isn't it? Also seems to feature young women in states of undress....

Dammit! Probably a better party than any featured in the show so far. Which look uniformly dull.

Another bit of local colour is that Cisco works in the tax office, and gave his employers no warning that he was filming the show. They DID know he 'might feature' by the time of broadcast, but I imagine they were slightly taken aback at just how much.

i didnt realise that Margaret owns the place in the Bay - i thought someone else owned that....

I also did not realise that Margaret and Brian were a couple a few years back. I went to school with Brian's sister, and we used to work together (sister not Brian). I also thought he might be gay.

Margaret’s house used to be a restaurant, part of the Boathouse Group. I was meant to have my 50th there but it was sold to Margaret. She was refused planning permission for whatever it was she wanted to do to it.

Fab location but very open and it makes me laugh when I see lost shoes, towels etc draped over her wall when we’re coming off the beach there.

Was Cisco the guy who wore the sparkly dress?

Yep, Cisco was in the dress. That won't have come as any surprise to them at all, but I think they had the impression that he was just going to be floating around in the background. Not discussing his sex life (although also not something he keeps quiet).

I've been to Jersey on holiday yearly for the past 20 something years, except 2020.
One of the things I am clinging on to is 2 weeks in Jersey in the summer (La Rocco apartments overlooking St Ouens).
If anyone local goes to the zoo, please send it our love (especially the gorillas and the lemurs).

It definitely went down a tier in July as I was able to book a break in early August.

There must have been filming prior to that as the beaches and restaurants are deserted. In August they were heaving.

Unless they filmed in the north perhaps ? Although I thought I recognised restaurants in Gorey and St Helier ?

They’ve filmed a few scenes in St Aubin at The Boathouse and once at Salty Dog. Someone we know was in the background for the Salty Dog scene on a table of four.

It took 5 hours to film the conversation between Tessa and someone, Kate? (I can’t remember who) and the ‘background’ people were given quite a bit of drink and not much food so were extremely drunk by the end of it. They were asked to keep the noise down at one point 😂

I think Bravo own the whole RH franchise so would be surprised if Andy Cohen has let ( 40 year old ) Sasha take over

I am driving my husband mad saying 'that can't be St Brelades in August because it was packed !

I believe it was filmed over a longer period than I had thought and with hindsight it was nice weather since April this year.
