I don’t know anyone at all who has been married more than twice!

I remember my Ex MiL wailing that no-one in her family had ever been divorced before when her son left me (and the DC) for OW, which was nice. Especially as her daughter was already on her second marriage ... apparently that divorce 'didn't count'.

I reckon she'd be a great Corrie writer because she can completely obliterate from her memory entire marriages and sometimes even decades if it doesn't suit her narrative.

Adam's got a blimin' nerve. Stealing money, visiting prostitues (OK it was only for cardi action but still...) and he's got the nerve to act all sanctimonious with Carla.

As for Geoff... I think the writers are going full hog with his storyline as part of the 60th anniversary. Good, we've waited long enough!

And why hasn't anyone pointed out to Yasmeen that Elaine/Philippa is Geoff's wife, not her, and he should be being charged with bigamy amongst his other crimes.

Hopefully Geoff will be proven to be a bigamist, which will mean that he does not own half of Yazmeen's house and business, and he can bugger off to Cyprus with nothing.

Perhaps in a plot twist Christine will turn out to be a scammer and relieve him of it. Here's hoping. Or perhaps when it comes out that he has no rights to the house after all he will have to pay it back.(not sure if he has received any money yet?) I don't care as long as he ends up sad, bitter and alone. And oh yes, in failing health.

Liz and Jim and Kevin and Sally have also been married (and divorced) twice. In fact, the only Corrie couple I can think of who have divorced and NOT remarried when both have stayed in the show is Martin and Gail.

Obviously I know Martin is long gone now; what I mean is the divorce didn’t mean the exit of one character.

Also, how could I have forgotten Ken and Deirdre?!

I loved Martin. I find David very like him personality wise.

Yes - I agree that he needs to get his comeuppance - preferably in prison, getting the occasional kicking, and then coming out to a scruffy bedsit and a life of lonely misery.

How didn't Geoff's presumed bigamy come up during the trial? Or did I miss that?

No Jamie - it didn't come up and I have no idea how Yasmeen's legal team missed that one.

Well, you can't get a test without symptoms so it would be irresponsible for Corrie to suggest you can get one just because you shagged someone. Now....an sti test, yes!!

I think weatherfield had a different sort of covid? Masks optional. Social contact is ok unless you have a traumatic event, then everyone is distance.

They need to start asking questions about Tessa, geoffs second wife.
