New ’un.

Whose turn on the storyline merry-go-round will it be this week?

OP posts:

Goof 🤣🤣🤣🤣. That’ll have to be his new name

EdwardCullensBiteOnTheSide · 07/12/2020 13:30

What was Debbie doing in that car?

desperatehousewife21 · 07/12/2020 13:35

Aerial shot of the set which is quite interesting

What was Debbie doing in that car?
No one knows 😂

It looks so small when you see it like that. On screen it feels like a much larger place.
EdwardCullensBiteOnTheSide · 07/12/2020 14:29

Who's car was it? Looked like possibly putting something under brake pedal? Would make sense if the car was Abis as Ray wants rid of her!

Cygne · 07/12/2020 14:39

@EdwardCullensBiteOnTheSide

Just watching Fridays now. Doesn't it make you wonder how lawyers can live with themselves, Geoff lawyer must absolutely know that he's a sick fucker and she was still nastily interrogating Yasmeen like that. I know on this instance it's not real but this is what goes on.
You surely realise that this is being written for maximum dramatic effect? Any barrister who hammed it up like that in court would soon find themselves in trouble with the judge.
Clawdy · 07/12/2020 15:34

I really want Kevin to find out what a nasty piece of work Debbie is. Was she like that when she was first in it, must have been years ago?

SchadenfreudePersonified · 07/12/2020 16:44

Not that I can recall Clawdy.

Just an ordinary bolshie teenager. They didn't have such wildly dramatic storylines though. They were much more life-like - doubtless viewers today would find them boring, but then the attraction of the show was that it reflected people's real lives and real struggles.

MerylStropp · 07/12/2020 17:53

She isn’t acting for Geoff at all. Or rather, she shouldn’t be!
Probably because last time she appeared she was playing a defence lawyer - she represented Nasty Nathan (the low-life that groomed Bethany). It's hard to remember that Geoff isn't actually the one on trial here ... but hopefully he will be one day.

Pebbledashery · 07/12/2020 19:34

I'm sure it's been mentioned before. But how is Imran even representing Yasmeen 🤔🤔🤔🤔. Isn't this major conflict of interests?????

Pebbledashery · 07/12/2020 19:35

Got to love a Barristers opening speech.

Honeyroar · 07/12/2020 19:40

So she’s sending Abi off in the car... Why??

Redglitter · 07/12/2020 19:41

Catching up with Fridays episodes. Why were they having a memorial for Oliver rather than a funeral?

Redglitter · 07/12/2020 19:42

Oops I should have kept watching shouldn't i 🙈

Smallsteps88 · 07/12/2020 19:45

Because Leanne insisted it was a “celebration of Olivaah’s life” and very much not a funeral. She bit the head off everyone who said the word “funeral”

Geoff being recalled wouldn’t have been a surprise to him. He would have a victim liaison or court liaison appointed to him who would be keeping him informed of what was happening and if new evidence had been submitted etc. That wouldn’t have been announced to him in court.

Roussette · 07/12/2020 19:47

Ken's back!

He hasn't spoken yet though Grin

Ahorsecalledseptember · 07/12/2020 19:51

He heard you rousette Grin

I enjoyed Geoff’s cross examination then so much! OH coughed in the middle of it though, AIBU to LTB at once?

Pebbledashery · 07/12/2020 19:51

Imran would be a great Barrister against my abusive violent ex! Make him squirm!

Pebbledashery · 07/12/2020 19:52

@Ahorsecalledseptember change the locks and put his stuff outside immediately.

Pebbledashery · 07/12/2020 19:59

Would a Barrister be able to cross examine like this?

Roussette · 07/12/2020 20:03

No probably not Pebble but I'm loving it!

Men like this always have a breaking point temper wise, he's lost it

Smallsteps88 · 07/12/2020 20:04

Urgh! WHY did they do the soap cliche? Why couldn’t they have let it be a bit more like real life where he denies denies denies. The jury would still have found her not guilty based on what they’ve seen and heard.

Pebbledashery · 07/12/2020 20:06

Loved his cross examination. It was a masterpiece.

Honeyroar · 07/12/2020 20:09

Oh. ☹️ That’s what she put in the car.
